This app is designed to help complete beginners learn how to pronounce and recognise around 250 everyday words and phrases. You are clearly a more advanced learner and need a bigger challenge. Please contact support@utalk.com so we can point you towards more Arabic Lebanese content (including free stuff) with the option of slowing down speech. Best wishes, Sarah PS We charge for our apps so we don’t have to use annoying adverts and because we made a quality product, using four native speakers for each language.

Very useful app for the authentic Lebanese language.
Moreover, the method is efficient and fun.
1. They use a male and a female voice with slightly different accents. This helps with word recognition.
2. You can record your voice and compare your pronunciation to the instructors’.
3. You can turn off the transliteration. This keeps you from depending on your native language and makes you focus on sights and sounds. (The most efficient way to learn)
4. There are two levels of review for each section as well as a memory game. (At first, I thought the memory game was just a fun piece. But after playing it for the first time, I realized that it helps cement your vocabulary because it doesn’t give you time to cheat by depending on mental translation.)
All in all, this is an excellent way to start learning true Lebanese language. Well worth the modest price!
