Does not work

This app was “upgraded” months ago and since then it simply doesn’t work. My saved data changes continually, the navigation in my iPhone XR is almost impossible and it has a lot of bugs. The content itself (reviews and information) is accurate but I really would like to go back to the old design.

Went from great to unusable to buggy

This app was truly amazing when it launched. Then an update happened which rendered the app completely unusable. They’ve since patched it and while it works, it’s a buggy mess. Scrolling is choppy, games sorted alphabetically are out of place and sometimes while searching the results are jumbled into one. There’s a lot of potential with this app. I saw it with its first iteration. No idea why they tried to fix what wasn’t broken.

Loss of data

I like the idea of this app but I’ve lost data twice now. This is great for understanding price points but is a bit tough to keep track of inventory. I have to now go back re-input all of my games.

What Happened?

I used to love this app. I would refer to it constantly whenever I would go to purchase an NES game or accessory. I haven’t checked it out in a while but today I was browsing eBay and decided to check what would be a good price for a certain game. So I decided to consult the Ultimate NES App. It is nothing like it was before. All my saved collection is gone, even though I created a login. Some games and accessories aren’t even on the list anymore. The app is filled with bugs and glitches. It won’t even scroll properly. I am very disappointed and I hope they fix this soon.

Update made it useless & erased my collection

It's just flat out broken now, and my collection that I manually put into this app is gone. Used to be great, now it doesn't work at all, even on my old iPhone 6+. Apparently I can't downgrade, either. 5 star app before, but now it's worthless. Why are you still charging $5 for this?

Used to Live this App - Now Unusable

I should have rated this app earlier because I loved it! Was able to make detailed notations of the collection and at a glance pull data from PriceCharting and other data sites. But since the new update, it’s literally unusable. Games don’t populate when trying to scroll, search freezes and is inaccurate. Work hard in trying to find a game, click on it...multiple times...and the wrong game comes up. I know Pat had struggled with the previous coding company and got another but I cannot use this app in its current state.

Also from a troubleshooting standpoint, I’ve tried this on multiple iPhones. Same result.

Disappointed

Was great at first but there must been some kind of update and it deleted all my stuff and also the app now freezes and doesn’t display anything right or works at all. So unless this gets fixed this app is worthless. I guess I’ll just use my GAMEYE instead.

Update has made app unusable!

Big fan of Pat and Ian, so having to give this 1* does make me sad because this was a 5* app until the last update. Which lost my entire collection and glitched the entire app and has made it useless. Another app/game which is now obsolete because of an update, avoid until it is hopefully fixed.

App No Longer Works

I don’t know what happened but this app is completely broken after the last update. My entire saved collection has been completely wiped gone, images loading on top of images and not even all the games are wanting to load. Some games are multiplied and pages don’t scroll anymore. I’m using an iPhone 8plus on the latest iOS.
