I'm sorry that you are not happy with the app. There are always going to be knitters that need the wordiness, and those who don't. The patterns are also provided in schematic form, and you can knit straight from that if you don't need the words. Printing the patterns or saving as a pdf is simple.Exactly what I was looking for
Years ago I had knitting software called Sweater Workshop. It basically did what this app does. As computers evolved/upgraded my software no longer worked. I have been looking for something similar in an app and now I've found it. And this is better than the software I had. Thank you so much for creating this.Show lessbellaplans

Ran into a glitch on a custom pattern that prevented saving. I contacted Jacqueline through the website, and she was on it in a flash. Not only did she fix the problem in the app (to be included with the next update) but generated a fixed pattern PDF and sent it to me.

I use this for many of the sweaters I knit. Any yarn, any gauge and many styles —you can create the sweater you want.
Has sizing from babies to adult men - sweaters for everyone.
Standard sizing or add you measurements for great fit.

I’ve had an idea for a sweater in my head, but couldn’t find a pattern that matched it. With this app, I can create exactly what I want, and make sure it fits me perfectly! I’ve done the math to adjust patterns to fit before, and this is sooo much easier!

Don’t bother.
Hi have worked with many trial versions of apps before, but this is about the worst. Anytime you try to make some sort of adjustment, it tells you you have to get the paid version to do it. You can only have certain sizes, only two sizes of yarn, only one neckline, etc. either pony up the bucks for the full version or move on and pick something else, because this is a complete waste of time. And be aware that for what you get, this app is extremely pricey.Show lessRagtimelady

I feel very hurt by your remarks. The premium version of this app has enormous scope, as it can be used with any yarn and customisable sizes. It has taken up years of my life of very long hours and no pay to develop it. There is no other app that does all that mine does, and I am working on more features to be added soon. A book of knitting patterns will usually cost more than the premium upgrade, and will contain a finite number of patterns, compared to the uncountable combinations of options in the premium version of this app. The purpose of the free version is to allow the user to use it to create a small selection of sweater patterns, and I thought it would be good to keep all of the premium options visible so that the user can see what they would get before they commit to paying for anything. Perhaps I’ve got it wrong, or perhaps I shouldn’t have created a free app. I am so upset.Disappointing

I am sorry you feel so disappointed. If only everything in life was free! But if it was, nobody would need to work and apps like this one wouldn’t even exist. The premium version of this app is the result of thousands of hours of work. Yes, you are correct that the free version only creates limited patterns. The whole point is that the premium version has all of the options - but if someone is unsure if it is for them then they can try this free version before they decide. I never expected that as a result of giving something for free, that people would be angry that they have to pay for my premium app. I am in tears.Design form does not keep info
Hi,
This is my first time using this app. The design form does is not keeping some standard info like “women’s” sweater and such and has been asking me to fill the info many times...cannot even make one standard automated pattern. I purchased the expensive version of this app...What is going on?

Hi, I am sorry you are having problems, we have tested the app and use it regularly without problems. We are unable to replicate this issue ourselves, all of the design settings are correctly saved every time. Possibly power cycling your device, or even deleting the app and reinstalling it (you can restore your purchase without paying again) might correct the issue.
