Leave a Review Speak Icelandic
You’re better off with drops
The robot voice is horrible and about half of the words are locked and you have to pay for them.Awful robot voice
This app is not worth the time it takes to download. Instead of a native speaker, the app uses a computer voice. It sounds like Steven Hawkins is teaching class.Couldn’t Even Use
Crashes whenever audio attempts to play even after the bug fixInteresting but not useful
Nice to see an Icelandic app but the tin man’s voice in audio and the choice of daily words make it a novelty not a useful app.Good app
This app isn’t as intuitive as others like DuoLingo, but it is still useful, given there are so few apps to learn Icelandic.
If you have Audio troubles, try flipping the audio switch on your phone on. With DuoLingo and most apps you don’t need to flip the switch, but for this app you do.Audio Doesn't Work
I'm on a current iPhone with current iOS version. I completed the full download but audio doesn't work. Nothing happens when I press the Play icon next to a wordAlmost a good app
The audio doesn’t work.Developer Response
Thank you for downloading the app and sharing your concern. Probably you are facing either of the 2 cases:- First case: Problem in downloading audios We want to let you know that when you install the application, it starts downloading audios for selected language. If downloading is interrupted due to network error or some other reason, there would be problem with the audios. In order to fix this, you can reinstall the application from store. Second case: How to play the downloaded audios? The second scenario can be if the audios are already downloaded, go to the word list page. Click on the play button and you can get the audios here. Still if you are facing problem, please share the screenshots at app.support@edutainmentventures.com so that we can look into the problem. We are always ready to help you out.Do not bother
The sound often doesn't work, and when it does, words come from a robot that sounds nothing like a human being. It is in no way helpful.Skip This App!
Usually when you want to learn or practice a foreign language, it is useful to have the app actually have functioning sounds. I wasted my money on an app that will not play a single sound on the iPad Air 2. It works on an iPhone 5.
