My 3 yr old enjoys it
Would be great if it could rotate to landscape mode (portrait is a little less easy to hold on lap), and if I could just pay for the app instead of having ads popping up (the ads are maybe only for the developer’s own apps but they’re intrusive/confusing to a 3 yr old).
I like that you can take/load photos within the app to draw on (though the 3 yr old is less convinced) and can save the artwork you make in the app to Photos.
It took us a little time to find the paintbrush controls - the “settings”-style icon means changing colour of stroke/fill but switching back to the paintbrush/pencil after using the eraser or stamps/stickers involved going into the shapes tool and selecting the first option in there, which was a bit opaque when we just wanted to switch back to paintbrush/pencil mode.
Overall though it’s a nifty little app and so far the best we’ve found for the 3 yr old to play with on our new iPad.
