Horrible
You are right.. Can't prove you work for big fish.. But to qualify this game as 2 stars or above makes me wonder.. I rely on reviews and this game is HORRIBLE but yet got good ratings.. Kick backs.? I gave it a second try after the reviews and had issues loading, the lag time between scenes etc. plz. Let me know where I can write so I can get kickbacks for positive reviews...

DON'T PAY FOR THIS GAME
I played the demo, bought the full version and it broke two scenes later. The game won't let me move forward and I want my money back. DON'T PAY MONEY FOR THIS GAME!
Muzz
Great game with interesting puzzles and different HOSs which hold the attention. Such a shame moving between scenes is not instantaneous. Very frustrating having to watch the circle go round and round before the area you want to get to is loaded.
Fun, average game but kept me interested
I second all the other reviewers objections to being called fake reviews if we give more than two stars. Reviews are a matter of opinion. A disagreement of opinions doesn’t make anyone right or wrong or lying; it just means we like different things. And that’s okay. Reviews can be gamed, but that is usually indicated by lots of reviews with few details, which isn’t the case here. Plus, is this really such a big deal that you need to attack people you don’t know over their opinion on a free trial game?
Moving on ... I am also playing on an iPad Pro and had no lagging problems. I just finished the main game and was surprised to see how many people had trouble with it. Probably obvious, but when things lag, make sure you close any other apps open in the background, make sure you have more than 1 GB of memory available, and if it's really bad, you can try restarting your device.
Oh, and I figured out a trick for those annoying review requests. When it pops up, click the second button where you can leave a reason you don’t want to review. You don’t have to write anything, just click the submit button and I don’t ever get it popping up again in the same game. Hope that works for others.
The game itself was good, solid puzzles, consistent difficulty throughout, and some humor sprinkled around. I like that the map shows when you've got all the extras and that the collectibles are interactive. You can paint with the paints and play the records, etc. The story wasn't original but it also wasn't overly dark, despite being about nightmares. Though maybe that’s just in comparison to the blood and gore from Haunted Hotel earlier this week.
Oh, and in the settings you can increase and decrease the contrast/brightness of the game, so even if you have your iPad on the brightest level like I do, you can increase it. The sound settings were detailed too.
Can’t wait for the next Dark Parables that’s apparently coming out soon!

I have tried twice to put together the note in chapter 6 so I was unable to finish. Loading is slow. My first try it shut down my iPad completely. I gave it 3 stars as I enjoyed the collectibles. Could you please fix chapter 6. I will try a 3rd time.

I Might Not Be "Keeping" This "Antique" Forever!
UPDATE: With sincere regret, I must deduct an additional star due to the continual lagging, which has resulted in extreme vexation. Other than this change, my review stands as set forth below. On a rare side comment: it is quite baseless to make a blunt remark that anyone rating this game more than two stars must work for BF. I do not work for BF, and I would have left my review at 4 stars if it weren't for the transition issue. There are some good components incorporated into this game that some people did not point out, and not all players experience the lagging!
The context of the plot has been "worn" before since it covers the theme of rescuing someone who is trapped within an artifact; however, it still has managed to maintain my attention. I love the diversified settings as I explore the following: a quaint European village with cobblestone streets and a canal winding around brick-stone buildings; an abandoned hill-top mansion surrounded by a swampy, smog-enshrouded lake with a creepy doll sitting on a swing; and a decrepit, weather-battered ship resting on the ocean with a young woman held captive inside by a monstrous octopus. I laud the quirky and oddball details integrated within the surroundings, such as: a hanging portrait of a man who can communicate with you; a floating monster-like book with razor-sharp teeth ready to devour your reaching hand; some hopping horse-head poles with red-piercing eyes; and a giant stone hand, which is marked with strange symbols and bears distinct rings on each finger. The quality of the graphics is second-rate; they are visually faded and lack the crispness needed to spotlight the intricate details. On the contrary, the colors are exquisitely rendered; I find myself staring at the mesmerizing beauty of the bright and iridescent colors radiating out from the more monochromatic blue/green/purple background. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map is hindered by a delay in travel of a few seconds; it does label locations and indicates available actions in custom mode. Furthermore, the map notes which locations you can collect a morphing object. Some immersive background animations are integrated throughout, such as a bird flying away, a ship in a bottle being filled with water, and candles flickering on and off--all effected upon touch. The varied HOSs are remarkably interactive and imaginative in presentation. I enjoyed the one where you restore the pictures and newspaper fragments to determine what your uncle was working on; it is effectuated in an interpretive approach in which you will piece together clues to further advance your investigation. The HOSs integrate embedded puzzles, which afford the option to skip some tiered levels. Some of the puzzles are "reworked" in concept, but they are cleverly executed with some interesting ideas. One type is to move Uncle Paul through a maze in exactly 10 moves. There are also some tedious flipping types. You have several sets of collectibles to discover; they can blend well into the background. Keep your eyes peeled because they are located anywhere. This game is developed by Elefun Games, the same developer who created the "Witches Legacy" and the "Fear For Sale" series: same interface; same formulaic pattern of gameplay; same cumbersome lagging between scenes. This impeding lagging is apparently not attributed toward any singular series in particular, so it seems as though this developer has a ubiquitous problem with transition. On a more positive note, there is a satisfying array of highly interactive gameplay and a vast amount of tasks to complete within each scene. This is a near-perfect game, containing ample creativity and diversity; however, I have to deduct a star for the graphics and the unfortunate lagging issue.

Keeps resetting
Every time I left the game, it went back to the start. Have now given up. Have started three times. Waste of money.
Ridiculous !
Terrible storyline with no logic whatsoever.
Had potential, if the developers hadn't decided to take this to a bizarre level. A much needed teleporting map, as it was difficult to make heads or tails out of this story. There were collectibles and morphing objects and plenty of hidden object scenes, very little character interaction. Overall, a Huge Disappointment for me. Definitely, not a keeper in my book.
