Educational additions: videos and blogs, a great new recommended pro/coach: Alec Torelli (ConsciousPoker.com), and a Coaches & Pros webpage … to help you use PokerCruncher more effectively and improve your game. 1) Links to videos and blogs on PokerCruncher (by pros/coaches) directly inside the app: Menu --> Help … --> Featured Videos & Blogs --> … For example the “The Best Way to Study Poker” video and blog by Alec Torelli are must sees in our opinion. Also see our website’s (improved) Tutorials & Videos page. 2) A great new recommended poker pro/coach: Alec Torelli (ConsciousPoker.com) Alec uses PokerCruncher in his work/analysis and has created some excellent videos and teaching material (e.g. the “The Best Way to Study Poker” video and blog mentioned above). If you want to learn how to use PokerCruncher effectively, how to read hands and ranges better, and improve your overall game, we recommend checking out Alec's videos/teaching-material/coaching. We ourselves (including me RJ) have learned a lot from Alec's videos and teaching material e.g. his funnel system for reading hands and ranges. Do check him out! 3) A separate Coaches & Pros page on our website, and a link to this page inside the app: Menu --> Help … --> Coaches & Pros We’re very happy that some really good pros/coaches like these guys are using PokerCruncher and have created some great teaching material. • It’s good, but i hate you have to buy both versions

Yeah, it’s probably the best poker calculator for Apple products.

I don’t like that I bought the $45 version for Mac and I also have to buy it for iOS too.

It’s not a universal license, but for $45 it should be.

    Developer Response

That's correct, the iOS-Advanced version of PokerCruncher and the Mac-Expert version are separate apps/purchases. It has to be this way. To date, the MacAppStore and iOSAppStore are separate app stores, even though they're both Apple app stores. If you buy a Mac app (any Mac app not just ours), you can't install that app on your iPhone. And there's no way to tie that Mac app's license into the iOS App Store so you can buy it for free in the iOS app store. So our iOS and Mac app are just following the established system. Also, the Mac-Expert version is more powerful than the iOS-Advanced version, and it has taken a lot of work for us to develop multiple versions of this app, targeted/nailed for the particular device/machine, and a lot of work to update/maintain/improve our apps for many years. And all of our apps don't charge any further/continuing in-app purchases/fees of any kind, so we will each app version's one-time purchase will be very worth it long term for our apps' customers/users. Regards, -RJ/PokerCruncher
  • Useless

This app is useless without upgrading to the paid app. It is just used to promote the paid app. Most developers give you some functionality or a limited duration test. Not this one. Don’t waste your time on this app.

    Developer Response

Hello, As clearly written in the description of this app (and in its app icon, etc.), this free app is a PREFLOP-ONLY version of PokerCruncher. It is *free*; of course it does much less than the full/paid versions of PokerCruncher. This app does calculate preflop odds, and gives you a feel for what the full/paid versions of PokerCruncher can do. Why would we give away the more powerful features of PokerCruncher for free?; those features are for the customers that have invested in the paid/full versions. Those paying customers wouldn't be happy if we gave away the full features for free; we need to and we want to respect/honor their purchases. Regards, -RJ/PokerCruncher, LLC
  • The Best

I’m trying to work out why everyone goes on about certain other apps. This is basically the best app for studying poker equity. Flop texture, combinations, etc. I’m not sure what it doesn’t do basically. Really surprised by the lack of coaches using it. Must have app for phone as well. Works perfectly. Just try it.
