Excellent Chess Trainer
I would give this game 5 Stars, except for the rapid closing of the board window when either I, or the computer, wins the Chess Match. It would be really great if the Developer would let the window stay open when the match is completed. I will sometimes win, or loose, a game without knowing exactly what happened, because the Developer closes the window without giving me time to analyze the final move. Other than this, the game is great. Please make this change.Show lesslencoff
Good game
Only problem I have is when I lose, it immediately exits the game. I would like to be able to see how I screwed up. If not for that I’d give 5 stars.Mule69
Sadistic chess logic and I love it!
I’m no expert in chess or chess programs but I’ve used a half dozen.
This player seems to revel in pins or somehow immobilizing the adversary ‘s pieces. Nasty in ways humans can’t be with each other.
It isn’t presented this way but a great mode is to let the game propose the piece forcing you to choose from finite possibilities. It’s fun also to back up and see if your idea was more elegant than its.
