Leave a Review OverPicture for Safari
It is what I wanted!
OverPicture is just what I wanted. It is simple to install and simple to use. It is nice to have something works the way it is supposed to!Best PiP app
Works great on every website and integrates seamlessly. I like that I can simply press "p" instead of pressing the button in the toolbar. Saves the toolbar space!
One thing that would have been nice is if it also added AirPlay support to videos in browser windows, too. But as it is this app does its job.Show lessFor the multitaskers
This app has been so incredibly helpful and amazing. I am someone who often likes to watch my streaming shows while doing other things on my computer, like shopping online or doing other tasks. This app has allowed me to be able to see the picture while doing all these other things. As a student, many of my lectures are posted as videos online. This app has allowed me to be able to take notes on lectures on my computer all on the same screen without having to make both windows tiny. I love that I can move the video screen into different corners. I would love to see an update where I can adjust the size of the video player. But overall, I highly recommend this app and have loved it!Show lessWorks Great!
Unlike Pipifier, this one works with Netflix. Also guys, it does work natively on Safari without this plugin right on the video, but some sites like Netflix uses custom players, this plugin bypass and let you use it.Works great!
Ttried several other PIP apps and none allowed me to use Netflix. This one worked instantly and flawlessly.
Well worth a buck!Excellent
Why do sites not natively support PiP? No one knows. But this little app does a great job, and when I encountered the rare website the doesn't play nice, I found the developer very responsive.app pisses me off cuz i cant easily just open from toolbar
app pisses me off cuz i cant easily just open from toolbari do not get it , does not work as stated,
i do not see the you tube video in another windowWorks well.
Its funny that this is supposed to be a feature in OS that I have never been able to use. this app is way worth the money. Thank you for doing what my computor provider didnt seem to be able to do!Permissions: reads your passwords and credit cards
When enabling OverPicture, it states that the app will be able to access "sensitive information from webpages, including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards on: all webpages.” It does not give me a choice to disable this property. I want to use this app but I need a way to disable this property before I allow it access to my passwords and credit cards.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi! OverPicture extension must access all web content to detect video players and enable Picture-in-Picture. But as any App Extension it is sandboxed by default and it is configured so it cannot share data with the network or any other app.
