  • White screen on IOS 18 / IPhone 16 pro

The application is compatible with all other older iOS devices available in the district, as well as personal devices used by my colleagues, with the exception of my own. This situation poses a significant inconvenience for me, as I rely on the app extensively for my work.
  • Every Update Breaks It

I use this app all day long for work and there is several features missing from the app that the web browser version has and every single time the app updates I have to uninstall and reinstall the app.
  • 2 stars so far…

We switched from Asset Tiger to iiQ for inventory management. The ticketing module is a bonus since it means we can get away from Eduphoria’s ridiculously outdated ticketing system.

While I like the fact that our inventory and ticketing systems are now integrated into an easy to use desktop experience, I’m still having trouble with this app. It’s clunky, and there’s been an update available that it hasn’t been able to install for several days. It finally installed this morning so at least I can open the app without being interrupted by the update pop up. This begs the question of why the devs don’t just use the App Store update channel instead of hassling users during app startup to install an update utilizing an unstable update channel.

Also, having come from Asset Tiger, my team and I got used to being able to scan an asset tag to quickly access asset information on their app. This app does not have that feature. With iiQ being a capable inventory management system, that would seem to be a basic functionality which would greatly improve the usability of the app. I know it will scan asset tags for check in/check out, but I’d like to have quick access to asset information by scanning an asset tag as well.

The UI is not sized right for my phone. Now, that could be due to some issue on my end, but I doubt it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it still rendered the same way. Some of the UI elements, such as the menu button in the top left corner, are too close to the edge of my screen. It’s like the app thinks the screen it’s on is bigger than it actually is.

It’s very easy to freeze the app with just a few taps, and they don’t even have to be in rapid succession. I’m really not sure what’s going on with that, but it makes the app truly frustrating to use. When I’m in a classroom working a ticket, I just need this app to work reliably which it can’t do at the moment.

On a positive note, I am able to use this app to work and resolve tickets in the field, albeit with far more patience than should be necessary. It also keeps me logged in which is a massive improvement over Asset Tiger’s app. Their app forced me to log back in literally every single time I opened it.

Overall, this app got two stars because it technically does what it says on the tin, but it’s slow, often unreliable, and missing key features that other inventory management apps have had for quite some time.
