Ads
Response from developer
Hi! We sincerely regret to hear about your negative feedback with our application. We understand how annoying that is to have mid-game ads. Please note, there is an option to purchase an ad-free version in the Settings of the app, this is a one-time purchase and that will remove ads forever on your device. We will improve our performance in the future, and the ads will be removed from the middle of the game. Thanks for staying with us. 🙌
Too many ads
Response from developer
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. We recognize that ads can disrupt gameplay, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We're committed to improving the balance between ads and gameplay and appreciate your patience as we work on this.
It’s more of a game than solving a puzzle
If you are a beginner this probably a great app to start as it has all kinds of features to help you. Like highlighting a row, column & block, highlighting the number you just entered. Using notes to list the possible numbers for a square and auto removing them. You can also turn all that off - which I did. I found the highlighting rather annoying.
If you are just playing the “game” I’m assuming the goal is to score the highest points, the faster you solve the more points. I just want the challenge of solving the puzzle. I don’t care about scoring points. I didn’t like if screwed up the puzzle and wanted to restart I had to erase the numbers in each square individually, there was no reset puzzle option. I play The NY Times Sudoku and that is what I am looking for not a game option. I still have it 5 starts as it is an easy game, with different levels of play. It’s not the apps fault it is not what I want.
Excellent app
I can’t comment on the ads because l purchased the app, l always do if I like it. Life is too short to watch ads. I love the way you can just slide your finger around the screen to fill in numbers and the numbers are clear and bold.
I don’t like the fact that 99.9% of my ‘mistakes’ are simply because a finger hit a random number or because my tap didn’t switch modes from possible numbers to final numbers, but l guess they want you to make lots of mistakes if it forces you to watch more ads. I wish you had to double tap to confirm a final number which would eliminate all those ‘mistakes’.
Having said that l love the app and find it one of the most user friendly sudoku apps l have tried.
ETA. I have come back to playing this after a few months break as l got bored, the levels have changed, but it is still far too easy. I am no genius, but there is no challenge in any of the levels other than to beat your own time.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoy the app’s user-friendly design and features. We understand your concerns about the "evil" levels and accidental mistakes. Your suggestions for more variety and a double-tap confirmation are noted and appreciated. Thanks for your support. We’ll strive to improve future updates!
Used to be a great app but now it’s too cluttered and you can’t turn the scores off
Response from developer
Hello! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand that not all players may enjoy the changes. While the animations can be disabled in the settings, the score feature is not optional. We prioritize player feedback and continually test new ideas, bringing in only the most popular features. Your input is valuable to us, and we’ll keep it in mind as we work to improve. 💚

Love this app, great for learning
It used to be my go-to.
Now, depending on how slowly you play, you could get served up to 4, maybe 5 ads a board. I generally complete boards pretty quickly so I only get 2 or 3, but I am still just as jarred by an ad right after completing a square or filling out a number. It’s off-putting enough to make me play one board a sitting or just not to play at all. Maybe the devs are seeing better adrev this way, but they’ve lost my interest. I used to consider buying ad-free to support them, but after adding this mid-game gotcha style ad structure, I can’t say I support them anymore.
Either way you structure it devs, you’re getting the same revenue off me. I’m watching the same number of ads. But one way is more upsetting than the other.
