In the style of Kings Bounty and HoMM series. The first heroes was good, pretty bare bones but a fun play through once or twice.
The second heroes offers no improvements over the first, no classes to choose from, still an extremely simplistic interface, no difficulty options. You always start with offense and defense instead of letting you fully customize your character. The whole game moves very slowly as well, needs at least a 2x speed toggle.
A couple small changes could improve the game quite a lot.
