Description of Pulsoid

Pulsoid companion iOS app captures Heart Rate data from your chest belt monitor, armband, or Apple Watch (note: bracelets and other watches are not supported) using BLE technology and transmits it to the Pulsoid website which allows you to manage the widgets and more. That’s why you will need to have a compatible monitor (e.g. Polar H10, CooSpo H6) or an Apple Watch and a Pulsoid account to log in and use the app. The app integrates with the Apple Health app by reading heart rate info from Apple Watch Steps: - login - find your monitor in the scanned BLE devices list - connect the monitor to capture heart rate data

  • My apple watch won’t connect to the app on my phone

I’ve tried multiple times trying to connect my watch to the app on my phone but i still get the same “connection failed” error. i have an apple watch series 6. i factory reseted my apple watch, made a new account on the app, and uninstalled the app on both my watch and my phone hoping it’ll work but it never did. The heart rate works on my watch but it won’t connect to my phone.

  • Not suitable for pure live tracking

Regardless of whether the option to ‘save activity’ is checked the apps health access means it will register as a workout which quickly affects total calibrations.
  • Needs a subscription to do just about anything

I wanted to use my old iPhone 6S and Apple Watch Series 3 to pipe heart rate into Resonite, but only after getting everything installed and synced it told me that I’d need to pay monthly for heart rate data access. Nope. No other app supports iOS and watchOS this old, unfortunately.
