Interesting but buggy

I like this app, and the fact that it’s hands on learning is great. But I have found bugs with it, for example on the very first lesson I am expected to print “Hi.” I have typed “Hi” and it gives me the error every time.

I’m learning

It’s tough going from one career path to another I.e from a heavy diesel mechanic to IT. I researched it as best I could and found that C++ is pretty close to DOS which is something I played with in high school a lot. Anyway, what I’m getting at is this app is very helpful and informative and has helped me understand this language a little bit more but it’s been almost 20yrs since I sat in front of a screen and did anything like this. The reason for only four stars is that it is kind of buggy but it still is helpful just the same.

Good

Could have further explanations and optional answers on/ off.
... also would like to see the code when writing. With optional error warning.

Good stuff

The quote issue is to use a vertical double quote " as opposed to the default slightly diagonal double quote “. The vertical one is obtained by holding down the double quote key for a few seconds to get the variants of double quotes. Good luck

Great refresher

It is a app that has helped me stay on top of my knowledge and a great reference as well.

Awful

There is a bug on the very first page and you can’t proceed after the first page. I can’t believe the positive reviews aren’t fake.

Doesn’t give specific information

This app looked really genuine but when I tried it myself and it asked my to type in “Hi”, I did but it wouldn’t accept it

Good info and a helpful way to learn it!

Took a bit to figure out

So, all in all the app is decent. One issue that I noticed was that I was getting an error when entering strings when it requested them. Turns out that the Smart Punctuation needs to be turned off (Settings>General>Keyboard). Once this is done you'll be able to enter double quotes without getting the red exclamation. It'd be great if the developer fixed and updated this issue.
