  • Amazing hidden jem

I have no idea whats going on in the game half the time, but i love it.
  • Latest Update Broke the Game

After the latest update, the game will not load on iPhone X. Please fix. Loved the game before this and will update my review after its fixed. Developer website is entirely in another language and I can’t read where to go.
  • Lovely exploration game!

Simply walking through the lovely little worlds made in Strange Telephone is so fun. You can tell the graphics and music, while simple, are made with style and love. Some of the puzzles are a bit tricky (but nothing too complicated if you've managed to get around games like Yume Nikki) and discovering a new detail or item interaction always motivates you to explore the world more deeply. It is well worth the price on mobile and is great for killing time on a long trip.

  • Pretty good but...

A bit short for the price
  • Not worth the money

If it was free, sure it’s neat to guess random numbers and see what happens but for almost $6 it’s really not worth it. If I could get a refund I would because it feels like a gigantic waste of time and money. 0/5
  • Please help

I did not mean to buy this game, I accidentally clicked on it as my phone froze for a second. I have the thumb print to buy items so I don’t have to type in my password, and I was clicking the him button to try to get out of the App Store as it froze on me. I would like to get a refund. I will not be playing this game, and I would like to be contacted by someone who can get me a refund.

  • Beautiful lightweight game

I love everything about this game. It runs so smooth, takes almost no time to load. Love the idea that you can share numbers with friends.
    Definitely worth the buy
  • Interesting concept

I took a chance on this game. It had no reviews or ratings at the time. Essentially, you enter random phone numbers that transport the player to different rooms looking for objects and clues to help escape. Beyond that, it plays like a point-and-click adventure game.

You’re encouraged by the developer to share numbers with other players. But, I feel like that may lead to unsatisfying spoilers (don’t know). On the other hand, the alternative is to just get lucky calling random numbers. So far, that’s what I’ve been doing with *some* success.

It’s a cool idea, but it’s difficult for me to see if this game mechanic is ultimately going to be endearing or not. Ultimately, I like how unique the game is. But, given the sheer number of permutations, a lot of rooms feel empty and useless. Progress feels random; without outside help, that’s what it largely is.

  • It's a very eerie!

Where to start with this. Great retro graphics. Utterly mysterious game play. Good if you like puzzles.

The only problem is: I'm now midway through the game, am stuck and there's no hint system. And I also seem to be the only person in the world playing it. Anyone?

I've reached the stage where you need to know the pay off is there to keep on trying to proceed.

Update: The latest update has "improved" the English and robbed the game of a lot of charm.

  • A very strange point and click

A randomly generated point and click is unusual, though this game makes it quite a fun experience! Exploring the worlds are quite fun.

It's a bit short though I think it's worth it if you like the tone of games like yume nikki. There are multiple endings but i've only managed to get three of them so far.

Good pixelart and music, definitely worth dropping some cash on.
