I’m sure the reviews are bots, just like the rest of the “people” you’ll interact with on this app.
The fact this app has made it onto the App Store is incredibly disappointing as this is the only reason I’ve gotten an iPhone - for better security.
This app asks for very personal information and from what I’ve heard from others, it’s not at all safe. You may wish to connect to people from around the world and share languages but this will not be the case. They are bots and not only are they not-so-entertaining but they WILL steal your info and data. I do not reccomend at all. If you don’t believe me look on Reddit the first time they ask for your personal info.

Excellent idea
If you are interested in finding out how others live and think in other parts of the world then this is for you. It takes away the pressure of feeling the need to reply immediately and gives you space to think about what you write.
Really interesting app
With this snail mail app, we can escape loneliness by making friends with people from all over the world. Instead of sharing pictures, we let others see our souls through the words we write in our letter
Can’t sign up without using Apple ID option
Why is email, fb, sms, and Google option only available for sign in and not for sign up?

Deny location access and the app crashes.

I like this app since first time I started Because it’s very good
It’s nice to have a contact with others through letters having stamps

This app is monetised to an insane degree. There’s an expensive subscription to be able to see more than 4 people, there’s an in App Store using it’s own coin currency that you need to purchase separately for little stamps and you’re restricted on how much you can do per day.
I deleted my account, I just got the sense that I can’t do much and that I’m not particularly welcome I less I spend lots of money. I understand monetising an app, money needs to be made but this isn’t the way.
I was really just looking for an AppStore version of the game Kind Words on steam which is cheap and a one off purchase and keeps a really nice and pleasant atmosphere. This missed the mark.

Slowly is free to use, and you can send and receive unlimited letters with a free account. While we do offer optional paid features such as stamps, avatars, and Plus subscriptions, you do not need to pay to enjoy most basic functions of Slowly. Best app to meet people ever
Absolutely fantastic app. Connects you with many different people and gives you a large amount of choice without Pro, Probis an upgrade and isn’t a necessary upgrade by any means which I really appreciate. Letters are suitably delayed and you can find all sorts of people all over the world. I reccomend this to anyone and everyone I can, and I highly recommend it to you too!
