Description of Classic Hearts

Play the world’s favourite card game now on your smartphone or tablet! Take on the AI opponents in this challenging, lively trick-taking card game. Hearts is an "evasion-type" trick-taking card game. To win Hearts you must score fewer points than your opponents. The winner is the player with the lowest score once any player exceeds 100 points. Free to play. Track your Stats and take on smart AIs in this fun game. Hearts is a straightforward game to learn, but it is difficult to master. Especially against the Coppercod AIs with their perfect memory. Keep track of your all time and session stats to watch your improvement over time! Looking for a challenge? Switch to hard mode and push your logic and strategy to the limits! Customise Hearts to make it the perfect game for you! ● Choose easy or hard mode ● Choose normal or fast play ● Play in landscape or portrait mode ● Turn single click play on or off ● Sort cards in ascending or descending order ● Optionally play with the Jack of Diamonds worth -10 points ● Replay any hand at the end of the round ● Review each trick taken during the round ● Choose whether shooting the moon adds 26 points to your opponent's score, takes 26 points from your score, or conditionally add 26 to your opponent's unless it would cause you to lose the game You can also customise your colour themes and card decks to choose from to keep the landscape interesting! Looking for a quicker game? Switch to Small Hearts, a streamlined 32 card version where the 2 – 7 of each suit is removed from the deck, and the game ends when the first player exceeds 50 points. A fast playing challenge for all Hearts fans! Are you ready to take on this fun and addictive game? Quickfire Rules: The aim of the game is to score fewer points than your opponents by evading Trick cards. After the deal, each player must pass three cards to one of their opponents. Whoever is dealt the 2 of Clubs must play to start the game. Each player plays one card in turn, following suit where they can. The winner of the trick is the player who plays the highest card. If you cannot follow suit you may play a Trick card (Hearts and the Queen of Spades), except on the first hand, or play any other card in your hand. No player may lead with a Heart until the first Trick card is played – Hearts are Broken. At the end of each hand, the Trick cards each player has collected are presented and totalled. The value of those Trick cards are added to each player’s total score.

Reviews of Classic Hearts

  • R Mac

Lot of fun… need to re-load the game a lot
  • Good App

This app feels very fair to me, just like all the Coppercod card games
    do.
I’m new to playing hearts. It’s like the twisted sister of Spades. Something about Hearts makes me feel edgy. Maybe because there are 3 losers and one winner per game.
  • You can’t beat the robot.

As long as the robot controls the deal algorithm, it can’t be beat. The deals are so obviously slanted against the player it’s no fun to play. The skill level of the player aside, he who controls the deal controls the game. It becomes one set-up after another. Thumbs down.
