  • Game changer

This app makes it so easy to track stats for your basketball games. The team and the parents as well as the coaches are really enjoying seeing all the stats to help improve the team as well as shot selections. Great job to the developers and for continuously updating the app based on user recommendations.

  • BEST basketball Stats App on the App Store/ANYWHERE!!! A++ App and A++ developer!

I have been using the Stats App for two to three years now during the basketball season to call local high school games on the radio. The App was amazing and exactly what I wanted when I first started using it, and the developers have continued to improve it with various updates over the last few years. The developers are super receptive to feedback and truly want to know what users think of the App.

The Stats App is simple and easy to learn, but complex and fully featured enough to keep all the stats you will need! The App is also adaptable for all levels of coverage/skill. I have used the app during recreational community education games for third graders all the way through high school state tournament games broadcast live on the radio. I have used the Stats App for live games (most common), but have been asked by coaches to redo the official game stats from tape when they think they were not calculated correctly. The Stats App made doing so a breeze.

The Stats App is fully featured yet adaptable to the level you are looking for. What to keep stats for one person, you can, a whole team, you can, multiple teams, you can. You can also save games and then easily pull rosters of different teams into a new game without having to type them in again. I use this for every game as we always have girl/boy games each night. I simply go to their last game, then select new game, bring all players forward, DONE! 15 second and I have the games roster and breakdown ready to go for the stats.

Other adaptable settings for the Stats App are you can quickly turn the shot chart on or off, change the court diagrams between High School, College, and Pro, change the distance between feet and meters units, and with the most recent update, change the color of the home team on the app to your school colors or the color of your choosing with a color-wheel slider. During live games I don’t use the shot clock feature as I normally can’t keep up, but LOVE that it is there and can be turned off/on with a simple slider. I love using it when analyzing games from tape and doing stats so you can see where your team’s shots are coming from and how successful they are. The other OUTSTANDING feature is the ability to export the box score to PDF!! For post game interviews with the coaches, the Stats App is great as I can instantly pull up the box score in PDF format for them to see as they sit down to jump on the radio. They have ALL the stats at their fingertips instantly. The export to PDF is also nice as you can easily text/email the PDF to all the coaches/players/parents and they can see the stats!

I can’t say enough positive things about the Stats App! I tried 6 to 10 other Apps on the App Store and they were either too simple and didn’t keep the stats I needed or super complex and took forever to set up and learn. The Stats App was perfect!!! It was simple, easy to use, yet complex enough to keep everything I needed! I was blown away and as the years have gone by the developers have kept on improving it! The Stats App really is outstanding and keeps getting better!!!

  • Great app but no opponent stats

First off this app is awesome for keeping track of individual stats for your team. The included shot chart is super helpful and the app is simple to use. However, I wish I could see opponent stats. I don’t necessarily need individual stats for each opposing player, but having team stats would be incredibly helpful to see how my team did in comparison. Adding this feature would shift my review to 5 stars.

    Thanks for the feedback.
  • No individual player shot chart

Can’t believe that a $5 app that allows you to have individual player stats and a team shot chart does not keep track of individual player shooting charts. Now I have to find another app that does in order to send it to a coach.

We've got those features now. Thanks for the feedback.
  • New update removed stat labels

I’ve used this app for a couple years now to track my teams stats in game. But this new update has removed the stat labels on the main screen so I can’t see which numbers are for which stat. I have to go into the PDF sheet to look it up. If this gets fixed the app will be great again! But right now it’s a pain to use in game because it takes so long to check things this way.

Thanks for letting us know. That was definitely an oversight and it's now fixed.
  • Team/Individual Stats

    1. Make all stats/shot chart printable/shareable.
    2. Make it possible to input season schedule.

    Done! Thanks for the review.
  • NICE APP…BUT….

I would suggest on the stat app allow the home to to add their roster for, AAU teams, Middle School , Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. Having all names in one section at the same time is a bit much. If I have JV and Varsity team playing at two difference times then I want to only see JV roster at the time of their game and not everyone on my roster….fix that part and this will be the best app out.

Also, need an OT selection under Q1-Q4 as well as the option to be able to select halves ( H1 and H2).

    Thanks
