Sailing Club

An update for the clubs piloting our new Keelboat Module. Added a new screen that enables race officials monitoring the start of a pursuit race to easily view: + the time of day + a list of all boats and their start times in starting order and + highlight the boats that have entered the race.

We are working hard on our new Keelboat Module. This update includes release two for testing at our pilot club’s pursuit race. We look forward to announcing general release at a later date.

Now users will see an alert to update the app when a new release is available.

One of our users (Robyn) who was using the real-time finishing option suggested that it would be helpful on the Review Finishers screen to display the finishing place numbers. Delivered in this release!

Updated UI for real-time finishing to make the sail numbers bigger, bolder and easier to see for our older finish race officers. We sailors thank every one of you!

A very difficult task on the Finish Boat, with multiple Divisions finishing, is to know with precision, which is the first boat from each Division, so as to make a sound signal as they cross the line. With this update, the Sailing Club app, will highlight in pink, any boats loaded in the 'About to Finish' bucket which would be the first boat in a Division to finish. This is the assistance Finish Boat crews have wanted, and needed, to deliver a accurate finishing signals.

Excellent feedback received from Clubs across Australia using the Sailing Club app to enter real-time finishes as boats cross the line. We love to get feedback from club officials using our apps. Based on user feedback, this update improves the user experience when: entering start times updating finish times/codes removes requirement to enter a PIN when Processing a Race

We are delighted to announce the release of full race processing using the Sailing Club app. The most requested feature, real-time finish entry, is included! Now available, and taking advantage of all the space on a tablet, race committees can implement real-time finish recording for fleets of 60 or more boats. New functionality includes: Add a race Add race entries Enter start times Record real-time finishes Publish the results All delivered in time for the start of the new sailing season!!
