Five a Day Daily Habits User Reviews

Please update with this one, extra feature!

I love the concept of this app and the fact that the user interface is simple and well thought-out. Cheers!

However, there are some days when I don’t fulfill one of my five goals/habits *fully* YET, I did put in SOME effort toward that goal for the day.

The update I’m requesting is the ability to score any of the five categories with a “Half-Credit” for the day.

In other words, a person could record one of three scores:
(1) YES, I met this particular goal for the day.
(2) NO, I completely missed doing this particular goal.

(3) “HALF-CREDIT” = I did take SOME action toward this particular goal, but did not meet the full standard - that I expect from myself.

I think this kind of scoring system aligns more closely with “real life” and, if it were integrated into the app, would raise the value of the program tremendously!

I hope you will consider updating your useful app with this feature!

Thanks,
John G.

Latest update

Hi, your latest update does not working on my iphone ios 9.1.
Please fix it.

This is a lovely, simple app

This app is a nice, simple place for me to mark down small daily habits I want to be more aware of, and work to be more consistent with as I become more conscious of practicing them. Simple struggles like trying to eat vegetables everyday, not spending money everyday, or going for more walks, are all easily tracked and save time in remembering. I like that as each month ends, it becomes a simple bar graph of the frequency of each tracked thing, making for easy comparisons to other months. (The only small bug I’ve noticed is that the months of Nov and Dec 2018 have jumped to the bottom of the otherwise chronologically ascending timeline; Is there a way to fix this?)

You can’t customise your goals.

Well, you can. But you can’t save them, because there’s no way to dismiss the keyboard in the settings screen, once you’ve started relabelling your goals. (I’m using this on iPhone.)

A dumb piece of poorly-thought-through UX, free app or not.

Response from developer

Maybe try hitting the return key, before calling something dumb and leaving a one star review?

Colours

I'm enjoying this app's simplicity. Please could the colour for each daily goal have a stronger difference / contrast if its completed compared to if it hasn't been? That would make it easier and more rewarding to see how I've been doing.
Many thanks
