Good app

Its a very good app i would say but how do you change the name of an item in one of the addons you create?

Great app! But…

So I’ve wanted to make MCPE mods for awhile, so I got this app cuz the reviews look gud. I changed a few textures, and made a custom sword with a premade skin. Then I tried to make Bluey (yes, Bluey heeler.) water and blue grass. The game crashes (aka kicks me out of the app) every time I try to open a world that has the resource pack with the Bluey water and blue grass. And I can’t craft, or find my sword. I saved the resource pack as a new pack every time I made an item in the pack, so I can use earlier versions of it, thank goodness. But this was going to be my practice pack (cuz I’m a noob to making Addons/mods) so I could make a cozy autumn cottagecore pack for fall arriving in the upcoming days. And if I can’t find or craft my custom items, or change the water or grass, then there’s 50% of my next pack out the window. And it seems like I’m the only one with this problem. So plz fix this. And if there’s nothing wrong then tell me what I’M doing wrong!? Cuz if that was fixed/solved I would give this app 5 stars. (Also it’s a bit hard to navigate when ur first going in.)

From what I’ve tested

This is rather good, from my perspective. I’ve only recoloured some textures, but it’s really easy to use, although it took me few minutes to fully figure everything out. I’d suggest you guys maybe put just a small tutorial when people download and log into the app, just to show them where everything is. Otherwise, this is perfect for me. By far the best modding app I’ve found.

Really good, just a few things

I absolutely love using this app to make mod packs and addons, but there are just 2 things I can think of that I would love to see being added to this game

1. Making advancements: If you could make interesting and different advancements to the ones in the main game, I think that would just be amazing. I don’t how many people use it, but just having the option to do that I think would be cool

2. Making mobs easier: Right now, you have to look for the main mob you base your new one on, but if you just had a make a new mob section, and if you want to, you pick a current mob to base your new mob on.

That’s just a few ideas on how to improve your game, just to make it even better!

Could be a bit better, highly remmomend

This app has progressed so much since when I first used it! Now models are made with Blockbench (which is so much easier than before) and we can make textures and mobs very easily. I do have a few problems, though. The app is advertised as having structures to add to your world, but that feature requires a whole different app, so it shouldn’t be such a marketing point. Also, when making a new block, I really wish we had access to the default textures as a base. It is so much harder to make ores without easy access to the stone texture. I also wish there was a way to create a new mob from the ground up instead of using the default mobs and cheesy in-app models that are to high-resolution to edit. I would really appreciate a way to make a block do something when it is activated by red stone, or a way to make new banner patterns or retexture the old. One more note: if you came here for a texture pack maker, it might be a while, because there is no way to retexture banners, beds, Minecarts, and a few others too. And a few items are missing from the newer updates. However, this is by far the best modding software on mobile for Minecraft I have ever seen. Highly Recommend!

Some suggestions

Here are some suggestions I think you should take into account, the first thing is, I’d like to be able to make my mob swoop down, I can’t do that, also I’d like to make custom commands and dimensions that would be pretty cool, and then can I please make mobs from the ground up without editing a vanilla mob, and then making it for example, I’d like to just hit like a mob button, something like a creeper with a plus on it, and you can customize your mob however, you want, like this whooping thing I mentioned earlier, and I also want to edit vanilla blocks to make them do different things and I’d also like to make structures you could build to summon mobs, sort of like the iron golem, one more thing I’d like the TNT to be just a block and then, when you ignite it, it becomes an entity because when I’m creating custom TNT, it’s an entity, and i can’t destroy it. I have to use the kill command, I’d like it to be a block that you can actually destroy but then, when you ignite it, it becomes an entity. just like the vanilla TNT, these are just some suggestions, you don’t have to do them, have a nice day

Projectile bug is so bad that it ruins the app

Currently, there is a bug with projectiles that makes you completely unable to make and edit projectiles. You seemingly can edit and make projectiles at first, but you can’t save them anymore. When pressing the checkmark (save) button, it is supposed to save your item you made. This works for everything (that I know of) except for the projectiles, as the app just fails to go through with saving the projectile, and because you can’t save the projectiles, your edits to projectiles you made before the app updated/newly created projectiles don’t do anything. This didn’t happen before, so I guess in the new updates to the app, this was overseen. Just to completely clarify, this is ONLY about projectiles, not anything else.
The main reason I dislike this so much is because my friends and I came to this app specifically to make custom weapons, a lot of them being projectiles, and I want to make more projectiles and change the ones I had before this update. Please fix this, developers. I liked this app and originally would’ve given it nothing less than 5 stars, but this failing-to-save-projectiles bug needs to be fixed before my opinions on this app change.

Minecraft updated…

The app worked perfectly, but now, it does not export with the textures in the file. When you export it, it will have all of the files empty and when you activate it, everything is not there. Pls fix this, make it support 1.19 :(

This is an amazing addon maker app ❤️.

(ITEM TRANFER BUG. When you for example make a food item and want connect that item to an existing Minecraft item and change it into something else after you consume it, it won’t transfer. I hope it’ll get fixed soon) It still has a ways to go with some of the limitations it still has. Like you can’t add custom doors, trapdoors, fence gates etc. and you can’t get more than one item back from a crafting table (like if you want a bucket or glass bottle back from a recipe for example). It still is one of if not the most advanced free addon makers out there. What you can make strictly in the app (other than the limitations that’s mentioned before… plus limitations on what you can do with costume models for mobs and exc on said app.) the only limitation is your imagination. This app is pretty good.
