Reviews of Agora 2

  • Pretty good podcast player

What do you get when you take the convenience of the queue from Castro, add in a compact interface that also allows you to easily plan what to listen to next, and strip away the bulky size? You get agora. It’s queue makes it perfect for things like road trips, and (in my case) gig deliveries,it’s interface is nice and simple, and at the low cost of free, plus the size of a whopping 6.1mb,it really wouldn’t hurt to try the thing out. Who knows,it might grow on you too :)
  • Confusing user interface

The app has an elegant but flawed user interface. Of particular concern is the bottom control bar. In none of the themes are the symbols able to be seen clearly. Maybe the dark theme is best in that it makes that bar gray, but then the top of the screen symbols disappear! What’s surprising is that it’s been like this for awhile. Hasn’t anyone complained about this before? Hasn’t the developer given the app design any further thought?
  • Love it so far

I was looking for a podcast app that was fairly basic but also looked good. This one is both of those. I love the swipe to play list then auto download feature.I’m hoping it doesn’t end up abandoned
