  • Would give zero stars if I could

New changes make it harder to just break-even, nevermind win. $50 bonus cash used to be given with deposit of $100. Now it’s just $35 bonus for $105 deposit. Tickets are awarded for playing games. Previously saving up 280 tickets could redeem $20. Now it’s 400 tickets for $20 prize. And no longer are tickets given for Z games which are free to play, only cash games. And gotta spend a lot more for tickets. I lose most games I play because the matching algorithm isn’t fair and I sometimes get matched with expert players who win by 80,000 or 100,000 points, when my average score is 20,000 on this game. I was ok losing previously because of the ways to get bonus cash, which meant I still lost money overall, but not so much. I considered the money I lost like a paid subscription to a game I like. Now it’s just too expensive, no matter how much I like it. So I play free games occasionally but I did like the cash games better before the new changes made it too expensive. The company is losing money, their stock value is way down, probably because they’re losing customers like me. I’m a shareholder as well. I’ll likely sell at the end of the year and take the loss as a tax write-off. It’s unfortunate. Skillz used to be a good company that cared about their customers and rewarded long-time players.

  • Not What I Expected

With a title like that above, u probably think it’s going to be bad, but it’s just the opposite! I truly believe that whether cash or paying for the Z, all is fair. U are seriously playing other players.
I’ve played these games in the past, by no fault of their own, I stopped playing bc the state I’m in is located in the Bible Belt so “No Gambling “ but I just discovered that the “FOOT” has lifted and allowed us to play.
I have played and won and I’ve played and lost, but I can honestly say I felt it was an even playing field and I’m happy to actually rate this app 5 stars. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY SKILLZ GAME I PLAY EITHER. I have a few others I play and I feel the same way about them all!
THIS APP HAS MY APPROVAL AND TRUST AS WELL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE TO PLAY!

  • Changed

Everything changed no longer fun I was banned for saying shoot in chat but it was a question related to the game. I no longer played after that toxic exchange. Mind you the game name is shooter. Not fun to play. No one really playing always searching for opponent also dont win enough skilllz coins to play if they wanted it cash only they should have converted to that waiting to collect to play a game is a waste. On to another shooter app thats not base on winning money because this game not it. Gave it 2 stars for not having ads popup.

  • Shooter

So addictive, great for your hand eye coordination. So much fun and it’s my go to game!
  • Nope

Used to be great. Would give free bonus cash and would let you accumulate tickets to earn free cash but not anymore. Bonus cash with deposits is now about 1/3 what it was, way fewer paying tournaments — and they are making a tonnn of money. Was cool but now just kind of scammy. Play the lotto instead

  • Very little incentives anymore

I'm not really a betting person, mostly playing the practice levels. However, I did like having the chance to play for up to $100 in prize money if I wanted to. Now, the $100 prize level is gone. Also, for the practice levels, you would earn tickets whether you won or not. Now, you only get tickets if you win, which means it will take way, way longer for practice players to earn enough to redeem prizes. This isn't fair since not all jurisdictions allow playing for money. AGAIN - game developers - it is NOT legal to mobile gamble in a number of jurisdictions. Adding to this, the number of tickets needed to redeem most prizes has INCREASED. So again, there are very few incentives to continue playing, something I probably won't be doing for much longer.

  • Shooter game is fun

I haven’t had so much fun playing this almost every day.
  • Addictive

Great Game but please for players to have proper censored names. Not sweary or dirty names. But enjoy the game lots. 👌
