    Oh no! Sorry about that! It sounds like a permissions issue is resulting in the white screen. We're going to make sure there's some better messaging for that case in the next update, but for now you'll either want to talk with your Administrator to give you "Counter" permissions, or make sure you're subscribed to Check-Ins.   • App Won’t Work

    Normally when an app has a bug I send a message though the app to let them know. Unfortunately, I can’t even get into the app to do so. I launch it and the screen turns white and it doesn’t move after that. I have reset my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiply times and it still won’t work. Bummer.

  • Half way there

    Good idea but it needs to connect to the check in app. So that when a child is checked in they show checked in and “floating” in the building. When the child makes it to the classroom, the leader can then account for the child by selecting their name as they enters.

    Also, the total headcount needs to be split by service. If you have multiple services it’s more helpful and accurate to reflect headcount per room per service. This is an additional benefit of having headcount rosters being driven from Check-Ins.

    Hi! Thanks for the review! Just to clear up a bit of misunderstanding, this app is not to check children in - the Check-Ins Station app is designed for that. This app is to count those who don't need to check in by name, so you have an overall count in the rooms you don't check kids and volunteers into. In addition, Headcount types are designed to be able to split up based on the times your admin has set up in Check-Ins. If one is missing, you'll need to contact them.   • Love the app

    We are a tiny church (average attendance is the 40s) and love this for tracking who is here. However, my iPhone is used to stream the service and iPad is used as a confidence monitor, so the girls are counting from the back where the Mac mini is. They are using the website, but it is really complicated to get to the right spot on the check-ins page. Wondering if it would be possible to have a simple “Headcounts” app available for the Mac mini as well?

  • White Screen

    Nothing but a blank white screen on iPhone SE running iOS 11.

    That's odd. We've been successfully testing with iOS 11 for months without a hitch. As long as you have a Check-Ins account and the proper permissions, you should be just fine, but we'd love to help find out why that's happening.   • Does not show data from other checkins

    Only shows reports from manual entries and has nothing to do with the rest of the check-ins portion of planning center

    Hi Tommy! You're correct, but it looks like there's a misunderstanding here. This is the "counter" app to tally up Headcounts & have those totals sync to your Check-Ins events. To view all of your event's data, head over to check-ins.planningcenteronline.com (from a mobile or desktop web browser). You can also find our blog post & video all about this app over at planning.center/blog. I hope this explains that a bit better & could help get your star-rating bumped up for us. Thank you! Matt
  • Great idea, if the app was working.

    Love PCO and so I jumped on this as soon as I saw it. Hasn't worked since I downloaded it. Phone is up to date on iOS and I have restated the phone and re downloaded the app. Every time, I log in, then I get a white screen and nothing more. Fix the bugs, and this will be a great app.

  • Must have Check-ins?

    Thanks for the response. I didn't think about all the analytics being housed within check-ins module...

    Sorry for the disappointment here! Headcounts has always been a part of Check-Ins because that's where your event times are stored. Since you're a long time Planning Center user, you might see this app in the same way Music Stand is a part of Services. Services holds the data, and Music Stand allows you to see it in the most appropriate way. It's the same with Headcounts. And, we've made sure that no matter what you can use unlimited Headcounts for free on the free Check-Ins plan. Hope this helps! - Scott

    Response to critic complaining about it not working without Check-Ins from Planning Center: You do have to have Check-Ins, but if all you want to do is post a headcount you can use the FREE package of Check-Ins! Head counts don't count towards your total number of Check-Ins so you can choose the smallest package. Try it out before bashing an app for doing what it's supposed to do...and they give you a way to use it for free!

    Great little app that proves Planning Center is continually listening to their customers and developing really great apps!
