Keeps popping up location requests
Just about to remove it as soon as I installed it, as one of the other reviews says, it constantly pops up requests for location permissions. A well behaved app only does this once when it starts for the very first time after installation. It’s perfectly normal not to grant an app permissions such as location, the app just needs to live with it.

Too big
This app needs optimising. It’s massive. 500mb is just too big considering what the basic premise of the app is. Other than that, it’s great, and thank you for your work.
Could be great
A valuable resource for sure, but the plan and evaluate links cause the app to crash on iOS 14
Keeps crashing
Hi
Good app except every time I click the planning/journey/key points bits-the app closes!

Take a hint from the users - the location bug ruins this app
The location based functionality has its place, but the obnoxious alerts asking for location permission every time you change page is really unnecessary and annoying. Users of this app are already well aware of their location and can look at the current conditions when they need to.
Slope Aspect Hazard Tool
Had the App for a couple of years on various iPhones and IOS versions. Never been able to make this function work although have seen it in various training slides at glen more lodge. Assumed it was a glitch with my phone but I’ve had som many now it just seems this doesn’t work on IOS .. great shame as it would be useful For planning routes

Annoying Location Request
While it is nice to have the SAIS reports neatly packaged in an app, the constant requests to enable location services are extremely irritating, to the point where it makes me consider simply using the SAIS website. Although some users may want to have the nearest avalanche forecast automatically selected, I think that the trade off between this and the reduced battery usage that it causes it not worth it; at least leave it up to the user to decide. Finally, location services while in app should be enough to find the relevant location.

Location request bug still not fixed
Installed and permission given for location “whilst using the app”. This results in constant pop up request to allow location access. This bug has been reported on numerous review for well over a year - please address it.
Stop asking for my location
This is such a brilliant tool! Gives you ace info, much like the website, about ground conditions and what to expect on the hills. All good but for two things.
Firstly, why do I have to swipe through the intro every time I open the app?
Secondly, you do not need my location. As a mountaineer I know where I am going, ∴ I know what area to click on when looking for avalanche info. I do not need BAA to automatically tell me that I’ve ‘Entered so and so area’. It doesn’t look like I’m the only one who feels this way, please sort this out.
To ensure people use this tool, user experience is key. Make these changes and I think you’ve got a 5* app!

Slope tool?
I have no idea what this slope tool is supposed to do. The options are greyed out and do not appear to do anything. Having the forecasts on an app is great but the rest of this app is a bit gimmicky and not very useful.
