Important fixes and improvements to the app included in this version: If your electric or hybrid vehicle is connected you will now be able to see the current charge of your high-voltage battery, as well as data about the vehicle’s estimated range - directly in the app! You can now also generate an insurance form via your app’s status screen, using the Report claim buoy. This feature makes it a seamless process to document any incident related to your vehicle. You have the option to include images in the form, as well as whether you want to share directly with your workshop to let them know the current state of your car and the needed repairs.

By giving you an overview of your car’s vital parts you don’t have to concentrate on the technical aspects of your car, but instead enjoy life on the road while knowing that if anything happens with your car Connected Cars will keep you updated and on top of the situation • Overview of your car’s current health • Notification if an error is detected with explanation of the error and recommendation about how to proceed • Current location of your car (only available to you) • Notification when your car needs service • Direct messaging with your workshop by text or images • Booking of repair and service through the app Notice The features and functionality of Connected Cars requires a Volkswagen, SKODA, SEAT or Audi vehicle with the official hardware installed. It is possible to book an installation of the hardware through the app or by contacting your local Service Partner. Connected Cars is backward compatible with Volkswagen, SKODA, SEAT or Audi from 2010 and forward.
