FireFly Firing System adds - FreeFire ability; professional companies have always enjoyed the ability to skip fire (advancing to the next cue during the show). FireFly takes it a step further by allowing you to hold onto each cue during a show to light cues in advance. Giving users flexibility and the freedom to know that they will never have dark skies again. - Add music from Files instead of iTunes! Bypassing that age-old MP3 worry. - More stable FreeFire Also, squashing more bugs. Always bugs

  • Still need music to submit show

Though you can now create and share a show without music, you still need a music track to submit it to the firing devices.

In a panic with many people hoping for the show to start I couldn’t get my show to work. So I add a 6-minute audio track to my 18-minute show. They seemed to allow me to submit so I go back and add the same audio track 2 more times. Submit the show, and all cues after that first song were gone, requiring me to manually fire the show for after the 6-minute mark. I really feel like music is just tech debt to this app and causes multiple problems in multiple ways.

Also you can rename your cues but they are not saved when shared.

It would be great to allow me to save shows using iCloud storage so I can create a show on my Mac, but use my phone to submit it.

    Developer Response

We have updated the system to enable you to name cues AND don’t require music any longer!
  • A lot of issues

First off last year I had no issues. This year I don’t know where to start. I guess I’ll start with the two biggest ones.
Yesterday when I wanted to add a firework that wasn’t in the database I could just edit the zero fuse time selection. Today there is no edit button. When I try to save and exit it says no audio file selected and won’t let me out unless I choose one. If I select don’t save and exit my show disappears. And that’s just the first 2 issues. And yes 8 have the latest version.

    Developer Response

The edit button will appear once you connect to the unit but we are also pushing a new update to allow this!
  • Bug for import music

I am problem with my app. Bug for import music because is connect at my apple music but new songs not appearing. Please you have a solution. Thanks

    Developer Response

Please check to ensure that the music you are attempting to use consists of songs that you have purchased and downloaded. This turns the song into an MP3 and will allow you to use it! You can also import music from another source as an MP3 to bypass this issue. Thanks !
