MUST use 3rd party login???

I downloaded this thinking it would be a cool way to track my build progress, until it wanted me to use either Apple/Google/Facebook to login and would NOT allow me to just use my email. Then it wants all kinds of permissions from you just to function and if you select ‘No’, it just force closes the app and asks again when you re-open. Needless to say, downloaded and deleted all in the same hour. I’ll go back to paper and pencil for my build sheet. My privacy, identity and security are worth more than a mere “convenience” from AutoModList. Everyone just wants access to your entire life these days for the dumbest of things. Thanks, but no thanks!

Loved it until…

The app just stopped working! It won’t load my profile and I can’t see anyone else’s. It was great when it worked. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon!

Exactly what I was looking for

I was wanting something that I could use to keep track of all the mods I do to my car, and this has everything I wanted and more! Very user friendly and intuitive, allows for lots of information and pictures for each mod, all nicely organized and dated. Plus, I can keep track of my maintenance in the same place!

Unable To Sign-Up With Email Address? 😮

This is literally the only app I've ever seen that requires you to sign-up with some 3rd party rather than using just an email address (or a phone number if it’s something more like a social network).

Not a fan of all of the big tech companies trying to make it so that they are the broker of your identity and personal data, and for some reason this app is the only one I’ve seen who requires you to only sign-in through one of them.

It keeps getting better!

I’ve been using auto ModList to track my build for a few years and it keeps improving. Before I kept a decent report of how much I spent through the app but it’s now so fine tuned I can account for maintenance costs, etc. I’m excited because I started a fairly new mod list for a new vehicle and I can now improve on it and update the review in a few months.

App has lots of potential. If layed out better/ more modern and simple, more people used it. Needs to be some influencers on the app.

Confused

I’d like to use this app but I can’t even make an account it is saying my phone number is incorrect and coming up with a bunch of errors when making a password, username etc.

As of Version 1.22.1, members may use Sign in With Apple and a phone number is no longer required. Members may also use Facebook or Google accounts to sign in to automodlist. Older app versions required a full international phone number, adding a +1 before a US phone number. The phone number was used to validate the user's device and to help the users recover their account.

The email or phone is used to verify the identity of the person opening the account (multi-factor authentication) to provide a high level of account security. The phone number is not used for any other purpose. We take user privacy and security seriously. Please see our Privacy Policy in the App Store. As an alternative to providing a phone number, you may sign-in with either Facebook or Google accounts. Your privacy is important to us.

Love this app!

ModList has made tracking my build so easy and allows me to see just how crazy I've been spending money on modifications to my truck. It's also cool to see other people's builds to see what they've done and to get ideas of what my build us the potential to be!
