  • Works on some devices

This App works on my iPad (iPad 7 running iOS 14.4) and on my wife’s iPhone (iPhone 7 running iOS 14.4) but doesn’t on my iPhone (iPhone 7 plus running iOS 14.4).
Both the Toguard Dashcam & my iPhone indicate that they are connected via WiFi but the App does not show any functions as available, everything is blank.
The App description in some places is only in Chinese script, not in English, and the developer has not stated their Privacy policy.
Finally, when the App is connected to the Dashcam, the Dashcam menu is disabled & the App must be used for all Settings. This is understandable but the App does not include all settings that are available on the Dashcam, particularly the GPS menu item.
These are my reasons for downgrading the App to only 3 stars.

  • Joke App

This app is a joke, period.
  • Needs to be translated to English.!

First needs to be translated to English, other languages so we understand.! Plus this app needs to be updated to iOS 14.1 specially picture picture. This app have a lot of bugs, needs a lot of improvement.!
  • App does not work for iPhone

On iOS 14.0.1. The app never shows anything when connected to the XTU 4K dash cam. Tried connecting and refreshing many times but the app never changes from connect phone to WiFi. And you can’t view or control any dash cam settings. The app does nothing.
  • Pasting from clipboard when not open

Why on earth is a dash cam app pasting from the clipboard in the background after not even being opened for months? The app itself is already bad enough, but this is crossing a line.
  • English please

Please write update descriptions in English because of many international users and I can’t copy & paste and translate myself using google translate. Thank you
  • Horrible app.

Good dash cam, but horrible app impossible to opening any video.
  • Better off viewing the SD files from a computer

It’s a nice concept. However, whenever I try to download a video it will interrupt and take me back to the video section of the app rather than stay where the files are and I think I’ve only ever been able to download three and even then when I try to view them sometimes they don’t appear for me at all so downloading them is virtually useless. As others pointed out, you do have to connect the camera and your phone every single time to see new files therefore you can’t check to see what’s new if you’re far away from the camera. The app is so poorly done for such a good camera so it’s a bit disappointing

  • Doesn’t work

Trying to download video to the phone and it crashes every. single. time. Previously used it on an android phone and worked perfectly, seems to be an issue with iOS
