Scammers, charged me after I cancelled my subscription
I hated this app, it didnt work and then when I cancelled (well before the subscription expiry date) they charged me anyway. I cant even scroll through my inbox without the app flashing white and then refreshes back to the top where I started. Had no problems with the free trial features but as soon as I paid it stopped working properly. What a joke.

Clean Email is the best option out there, compared to similar apps like CleanFox.
They actually respect your privacy whereas the others will sell-off your data to data brokers, and we all know that emails contain very sensitive information.
Yes there is a subscription option, and 7$ is the price of a large latte a Tim Hortons. It is still preferable over having other apps sell your emails for thousands of dollars.
Other than that intuitive interface and otherwise smooth experience.
Thank you for providing a privacy-preserving option.

Buggy since iOS 18
The pictorial verify option is partly off screen so it is not possible to see all picture blocks of the quiz. This makes verifying that I am human during login difficult if not impossible.
This has started since I upgraded my iOS to 18.
Developers need to correct this quickly.

Waste of money
I really wanted to like this app, but it has behaved so inconsistently and frozen so often, that in the end I have deleted it.
It is very feature rich for cleaning email, less so for its use. The user interface is rather messy, and there is a plethora of so called smart folders, which I didn’t find helpful at all.
I never quite felt that I got to grips with it, and then it started hanging, or presenting a blank white screen after every use of its Send to Trash option. Allied with the ages and ages … and ages!! It took to scan for new email each time I opened it, eventually it got to be just badly frustrating.
Pity, it seemed to have great promise, but didn’t deliver. I am sorry I paid for a year’s subscription as I have obviously wasted a lot of $$.

Promising, but doesn’t get the job done
First of all, what's the point of having an email client that doesn't send emails? I mean, it does, but you can't even add an attachment!
It so happens, also, that it's intelligent filtering is not that intelligent.
It keeps asking you what to do with the same emails all the time. It doesn't learn anything from your decisions.
The worst part is that it frequently loses important emails. I frequently have to resort to Gmail to find emails that Clean Email says they don't exist. It looks like the developers ran out of money midway through the development phase and left it in complete beta.

I have tried number of apps that say they stop spam emails. This does it. Has stopped Spam. Does what what it says it does

Waste of money
Absolute waste of money. The app crashes every time you select the emails you want to unsubscribe to or delete. Even though I bought the paid version.
