Great
Upfront I did this review as part of promotion to receive the premium version for free. I was looking for something to block this on my device as part of a goal to myself to cut down on viewing pornography and with the hope of eliminating viewing pornography all together. I am not the only one who uses the device as well I have a young son who id like to not have go down this path. As many have stated the feelings associated with the viewing of pornography are mostly negative but not only to your emotional health or the health of your relationship with a mate but also one with God. Keeping all these factors in mind I needed help with my self control because we have all week times so that’s where this app steps in and gives you an assist. Hopefully with time I can overcome this addiction that I have read can be as hard to quit as smoking cigarettes. I really need to quit in order to get my life to where I want it to be. I’m only 16 and addicted. I’ve tried quitting several times now and each time I felt incredibly energetic and focused but temptation has continually taken me back into the pit. I know porn is a demon and I must kill it but I clearly need help so I’m getting this app. Now, with this facilitation, I must continue through with my conviction. An aid for self restriction
I want to use this app because I discovered pornography at a time in my life when attraction was very new to me. At around fourteen years of age I searched up “penis” into the search bar and it was all downhill from there. Fast forward about two years later and it’s in my mind everyday. No fetish was enough to truly satisfy. The main problem with porn is that it draws you in promising “relief,” when afterwards you only feel more shameful. Now that I’ve decided to live my life for Christ and not my own selfish desires, I want to restrict myself and diminish any chance of seeing something I shouldn’t, no matter how appealing it may appear. I’ve been doing pretty good in restricting myself since I was baptized and I’m sure this will help in case I’m feeling weak someday. Best app ever
The other day I was in the zone. I got a good night’s rest, had my coffee in my hand, and was ready to seize the day. Then, the notifications went off. There was a barrage of emails. LinkedIn updates. And, a fury of trades being accepted in my fantasy football league. I lost my mojo. Obviously, I’m not alone since smartphone notifications are often cited as the most significant workplace distraction. Can you block apps at certain times of the day?
Was this distraction my fault? I like to think it wasn’t, I usually put my phone on silent. But, in my eagerness to get tackle the day, it just slipped my mind. This app is a life saver. It works extremely well and what I love most about it is that you can block keywords. Great way to keep kids safe online. I recommend this to anyone who is tired of seeing inappropriate content on the internet. I don’t know how long this offer will last but if you offer 5 stars and at least a 100 word review, they offer you the app for free. It’s been a struggle to find a blocker that is free so I personally appreciate the fact that they offered this option. At this point I express no concerns about the app being bad as it is basically flawless. At this point I am just rambling through my vocabulary in order to add to the word count and secure the premium for free. Therefore, you may skip any of the stuff I say from here on out. I’ve always felt the need to get away from this addiction but it always comes became to haunt me in the end. Really I’ve always told myself “oh it’s only a one time thing and you’ll get over it” but over and over and over again has the problem been relapsing itself and I finally decided that there needed to be a stop to the madness. so that was was when I decided to look for ways to help stop the addiction and really start living life again. I don’t want my later years to become something like slavery. Convenient
It blocks what I don’t want to see. Porn has made me feel depressed, and unwanted, among other negative emotions. The temporary satisfaction is not worth the psychological harm that watching pornography instills upon the viewer. It sexualizes and demeans women and men alike, gives a false idea of making love, and it influences people to desire sex before marriage, seeing it as what holds the relationship together instead of communicating. It causes people not to desire a commitment, and although not a direct form of the act, is quite similar, if not the same, as cheating. Watching porn deprives your partner of intimacy to satisfy your own selfish needs. If you are single and watch it, it has a tendency to lower your self-esteem, and for guys, it lowers our testosterone, causing you not to build as much muscle as you could without watching it. Bottom line is, we are what we feed ourselves. What we take in is what influences our life, our decisions, and our desires. It’s a difficult struggle to overcome, but it’s not impossible. Road to a healthy mind
Ever since I started watching, I lost control of a lot things I do. I couldn’t do my homework or focus on a task without it being at back of my head. Eventually I would give up and lose the battle and I’d be back at square one. I hated it every time because I wasted time and I only did it as a way to cope with my depression. I started thinking and decided to leave this behind me so that I could see life clearer and be my old self. This app saved my life and really helped me stop myself from falling into addiction. I had been watching porn for about 3 years and it was kinda spiraling out of control and I realized that when I read about it. I downloaded this app to help stop myself and I now rarely watch porn and have a much better sex life.
