Does what it says, no more, no less
The app calculates your max heart rate (HR) using your age, which is a common approach. I can never remember what the formula is, let alone do the math easily 😉, so for that the app is great. But, that’s all you get. If I can make a suggestion, a helpful feature would be to show in the resulting list of HRs the target HR/% for different exercise levels/zones, like aerobic fitness, or fat burning, etc. I think those ranges are fairly common, so it could be as simple as maybe color coding and/or adding text to describe which HR/% (or range) is appropriate for which type of effort you’re looking for. That way in one glance at the app I can see the HR I want to target for a particular type of workout. Thanks for considering this suggestion.
