About to vist Portugal soon
In 2024 I will be leading a small group a family on a visit to Portugal, so I thought it would be interesting to be current on the events in the country so far this has been very helpful.
Good overview of events in Portugal
We are studying Portuguese but not yet fluent yet we are very curious to continue to learn more about, and become fluent in, the culture and events in the country and the Portugal News (which taking perhaps a too-vendor friendly perspective from time to time) is a good way of doing that remotely for English speakers. The layout is crisp and clean and the content is always concise and to the point (sometimes perhaps a tad too concise, but at least it offers awareness). Very much appreciate having this as a resource as we plan a move to Portugal.

Portugal News no longer works!
Something is wrong with the app! It worked perfectly until about 10 days ago and now it just says something is wrong with the internet connection. Deleting and reinstalling it does not help either! This seems to be a problem fir other users as well - please do something about it ASAP
Doesn’t work and if it does often poor content
I am not impressed with “Portugal News”. They mostly just link to other news agencies. It’s a bit like doing a Google search with “news Portugal”. If they write their own articles they are shallow and poorly researched. Shame there aren’t any alternatives!
Today the app said it could not connect to the internet. All my other apps work. It had the nerve to tell me to check my connection. I think they need to check theirs!

Not working
It only partly works it keep telling me something wrong with the internet signal but part of it works it just the paper reporting part does not
