What’s new: =========== Our first release of the new and improved ACE Site app for wireless battery monitoring. We’ve listened to our users and made several improvements to both the functionality and the design of the app. Stay tuned for more features and functionality in upcoming releases. Improvements in this app version includes: • Complete re-design of the app with support for newer devices • Scan • Improved scan time • Scan results sorted on signal strength indication (RSSI) • Future update will include the ability to select item to sort on, e.g. Voltage • Scan result saved if you click on one battery, i.e. no need for a rescan after looking at the details of one battery • To make a new scan, go back to main menu and then click on scan again • Check battery • The long awaited feature to scan an individual battery and get the details for that particular battery • Check battery - Live scan • A great feature if you quickly want to look at the details for a number of different batteries, just point to the battery QR-code and the details will be shown until you scan a new QR-code • Software • The new app can update the embedded battery software to enable more functionality, e.g. State of Charge (SoC) • It is highly recommended to make an installation first before updating to the new firmware version in order to gather as much saved data as possible • Install • Re-design of the installation process as the app will now generate the installation report locally in the app • Create an installation of your batteries and get a local PDF report and share it through email • Ability to see the status of all the installed batteries • No cloud-connection or sending data to any third parties By the way, did you know that NorthStar now also offers Lithium batteries!
