  • Terrible physics movement and control

Not fun at all to play. The character moves right and left even when you don’t press the control buttons. You can’t control when he shoots. I deleted the app.
  • Perfect classic arcade game.

They don’t come any finer. Quick to launch. Ads aren’t an issue. Super fast paced. Re-playablility VERY high. SAVE YOUR DIAMONDS, you need 750 to continue 4 times after you die. Make sure hearts are clusters in bonus, you’ll need them later. When selecting a bonus item make sure the path lets you select something else if you don’t need a heart.

  • Ads!

Ads are intolerable with their tiny “x” that you can’t click to close. Only way to play the game is on airplane mode to limit the ads.
  • Great game

Without a doubt my favorite mobile game, in app purchases aren't forced and the in game currency is very easy to get, ads are minimal and easy to close, the art style and characters are unique and the reward for beating the game with all these characters makes it all worth while.
  • Great Game, but...

This is a wonderful Game! Frustrating at first, yet interesting. I highly recommend it! However even after the update the unlock able character is still glitching?
  • Like bubble bobble

I really liked bubble bobble, so I liked this also. It's harder though, due to the changed gameplay mechanics.
  • Very similar app exists

There is an app on the store called drop wizard, made by a different guy... It costs money to buy, but is a much better experience than this. It was made in 2014 while this was made in 2017..... plagiarism?
  • Quirky mechanics, but worth playing

This obvious homage to Bubble Bobble is quirky but well-crafted. The controls take a bit of practice to get the hang of, and the mechanics make this game more defensive than Bubble Bobble's simple offensive attack style, but the core principle of stunning your enemies then wiping them out, often as a group, remains intact -- as does the concept of picking up a wide variety of bonus items.

It's actually remarkable just how familiar this game feels while presenting an entirely unique concept and avoiding all the shamefulness of being a second-rate copycat.

But one thing that needs a revision is the skill upgrade system. After the first upgrade, you're stuck on a set path which limits your upgrade choices. This itself is a clever idea, but unfortunately, it sometimes results in the player having to take an extra life when they don't need one, and because the game caps the number of lives in reserve at four, the upgrade is completely wasted. To correct this, the life cap should be increased to eight -- or perhaps more if there are ways to earn extra lives that I don't know about.

  • Very good for phone

Enjoyed this a lot, it has a nice 'learning curve' and tiny bit of rewarding of playing to earn arguably better characters to help with progressing further into the game. If you (like most of the less favourable reviews would suggest) only plan on playing for 2 minutes and deciding it's crap or just a Bubble Bobble clone then you're really discrediting the game as the controls are very good and simple as well as smooth, and the gameplay is great at what it's trying to be.
Btw, Bubble Bobble, for those with short memories, was a game in which you fired bubbles at will, and even bunched them up to be able to jump on or into them - this is nothing like that, you only fire a projectile automatically from dropping to a platform - not quite the same thing, is it? If not, then Bubble Bobble is just a rip-off of Mr Do!
Anyway, the ads, as mentioned, do intrude a bit more than seems fair, but then it is a relatively short-lived game, so I can let that slip.

In short, very canny little game, which works great on a phone due to the controls being what they are which other platformers tend to fail miserably with.
