GREAT Game
Just finished this and Fleeting Journey and I can't wait to start the other games! The hand-drawn style is a very refreshing change of pace from the many photoshopped photorealistic point-and-click games on the app store. The puzzles really made me feel like I was thinking through the case as a detective. My one addition to this game, if I were to make one, would be an in-game hint system that provides the same contextual nudges that the website does. I love idea of this game - a murder, a mystery, countless puzzles & humor to boot. But I found the puzzles to be somewhat illogical so that I had to consult the game maker's website constantly for hints in order to advance through the game. I play a lot of puzzle adventure games and I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to seeking help with the levels. I like the satisfaction of knowing I figured it out on my own. So I was a little disappointed with that aspect of this game. But otherwise, great concept.Show less3Wilson3
Fun game!
I enjoyed this game and I liked that the hints were actually hints and not just solutions. But for the “prime number” access code clue, 6 is one of the numbers despite it not being a prime number. My guess is it was supposed to be 5?Joobykaneshooby
Ok but had to follow hints constantly
I love these types of games. This one is great in terms of characters and dialogue but I’m not a fan of the controls for moving from location to location and I had to constantly use the hints because it is not intuitive. It’s kind of random and tricky but not in a good way. Still though, I dig the animation and story line so it was worth the money.Show lessCcc2467

Can’t figure out how to lie about Parnell!!
I’ve spent so much time and I’m almost to the end, and the hint says to lie about the children’s minder seeing Parnell. I have no idea how to do this and every time I bring her up, the only option is to say I can’t get her to speak to me. Very disappointing after spending so much time playing. Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The hint you're referring to relates to a specific scene/puzzle for when you're gathering the suspects. Have you reached that point? (You'll know this from a conversation you have with another character.) It's difficult to advise you much further (and not give away too many hints to other players) without knowing more about what clues you have or may still need to find. We have a new system we're trying out on the MysteryCaper website. You can post a comment on our Updates page to get a further hint (much quicker than here and more tailored to a player's specific question). I’m really enjoying this game! Love the idea of a point & click wrapped in a murder mystery. Super fun to play. Some of the logic isn’t obvious but not too far-fetched. A really good balance. And I even love the way you structure your hints section! I think there’s 1 detail missing: I can’t figure out where to find the 2nd battery to get the flashlight to work. Game is great, hope there’s hints as it goes. Once you get stuck, it’s so hard to find the next clue. For example, that evidence from gazebo was pretty annoying. Other that that, great game and i like the dialogue. I am still playing and you know.... stuck at this point.Jennifer be

Thanks for the review! We do have hints on the MysteryCaper website, but it looks like you may have stumbled on one of the few places we didn’t address. Have you searched the entire cabin - near the fireplace for instance? Other than that, make sure you do everything you need to do once you make it through the woods. Hope that helps.
