Voice is bad enough to ruin this
The computer generated voice is awful, with no option to change. It is hard to understand which word is being asked for - took me (an adult) 3 goes to realise that it was saying ‘symbol’ not ‘simple’. Bad enough that I wouldn’t recommend bothering.Pricey;)
Boring and provides little incentive
The voice is monotone, computer generated and doesn’t always pronounce the word correctly.
Children earn gold stars without even having learned the spellings as they can keep peeking at the correct spelling.
