Updates in SCALE 6.26: • New TAPE, Translator And Plot Editor. • SCALE switches to TAPE automatically when you tap the edit button when viewing a calculations page with a drawing. • TAPE is a drawing editor that allows you to: • edit existing drawings, • edit and annotate detail files created by LUCID and SPADE, • edit and annotate NL-STRESS plot files and • annotate NL-VIEW screenshots. • All edits are saved back into the calcs file, where they can be output as pdf, docx and dxf. • New NL-STRESS GUI, Graphical User Interface. • The NL-STRESS GUI is an interface between you and NL-STRESS, which aims to simplify and speed up the process of preparing data for analysis. • By using the interface you can focus on only a small section of the data set at any one time and can concentrate on the data, leaving the interface to assemble it correctly into the analysis file. • For 2D structures, the GUI's Draw Structure option may be used to graphically edit the location of joints, supports and members.
