I absolutely love this app, however I don’t like having to delete and re download it so it can work. It’ll pop up something about joining premium, and I’ll click off of it because I don’t have the money and that I’m fine with adds. When I go to connect it’ll keep popping up to join, no matter what I do I’ll have to delete and re download. Maybe it’s a bug? I don’t really knowShow lessAlex_Aubrae
I'd rate 5 star but...
This app is good, it's wonderful, even, since it works within my severely and overly controlling school network, but there's one thing. I'm getting spammed with notifications at least once every two weeks for 1-2 hours, maybe even more. As I write this I've been getting spammed with what feels like a billion notifs that are drowning my others, telling me to check in even though I had today. I’m being forced to use premium
The vpn works great. The only problem I have with it is it’s always trying to get me to use premium and doesn’t let me use basic vpn. Anytime I get below 50mb and try to switch to basic it won’t let me. It’s very annoying. Please fix this. What’s the point in having a button that is clearly a premium/basic switcher when all it does is bring up a notification? At this point it just seems like it’s an intentional ploy to strong arm the user into buying premium. Based on the replies, you give no type of solution for switching back, only more ways to get premium. I don’t even WANT premium, I only need this for school. So disappointed honestlyShow lessjai_BDK
Ads make app almost unusable
Sky vpn is one of few vpns that work in schools, the app takes advantage of this and overloads it with ads. Ads when you open the app, ads when you try to connect, and even ads when it fails to connect. There seems to be little regulation on the ads that can show up as I’ve had ads that literally cover the connect button. And most ads are pop up ads that take almost a minute to close.Show lessWeed Shoes
Simple and effective
No real issues hear. Ads for basic service is annoying and not connecting to other countries without premium is another personal issue, but this day an age, you gotta do what you gotta do. And it’s really simple to use. Don’t know anything like me? (No, really, in so dumb I wasn’t sure what would happen when I hit “connect” the first time) No problem! It’s easy to figure it out! The ads are predictable, so there’s no tapping on a button right after an unexpected ad pops up and going to some random anti-bullying site. Simple, predictable, and effective. I have had this von for school sense my school blocks a lot of things on their WiFi and it has work pretty well for the most part there are some problems here a there but they aren’t often it’s actually free which is nice sense most vpns just say they are free but they aren’t and this vpn isn’t really that slow it’s only a little slow sometimes I do have trouble connecting but that really itShow lessCommander sloth

No option to cancel subscription!
I used SkyVPN when I went to China and it worked fine — I purchased a 9.99/month plan with a free trial (all their subscriptions have auto renewal, which they tell you in fine print). Now I want to cancel the plan, because I am leaving China shortly, but there is no option to! There are no ways to do it in the app, and even after combing through SkyVPN website’s FAQ I couldn’t find anything on how to cancel a subscription! Please help!Show lessChocolate Covered Charas
Excellent VPN
I don’t typically write reviews, but this VPN is probably one of the best on the app store. Purely for offering unlimited free services. Does everything it says on the tin, and while the limited 30 minute session thing can be annoying, it’s worth it for free services. Amazing App (one recommendation)
I got this app a couple months back and decided to get the year long subscription to the unlimited VPN and it has been totally worth it. Like most people that download a VPN, I did it so I could access things that my school blocks on their network and i have had successful activations almost every time I try it and it does exactly what it claims to do. Sometimes, it is unable to connect or when I connect to the VPN, it disconnects me from the WiFi and brings me back to data. When either of these happens, I’ll just shut my phone off and when I turn it on again, it works fine. I’d love to see them add a quick access feature that we can add to the customizable control center, though. Love this app!Show lessKev Cruz
