I’ve been a member of the APA Pool League for almost 18 years now, and been a captain for most of those years. I have to admit there’s a few rules that I don’t agree being a 7 in eight ball but the league is well run and for the most part, everything runs smoothly for being such a large pool league. It is more family friendly, which, for higher skill level players can be frustrating w/some of the rules….all good!Bill McCready does a fantastic job, responding to players when needed, and in a very timely manner.Show lessAnthony Maffei

League operators should be held to a high standard. They should not be allowed to let teams break rules and get their way when they complain to the LO. When the APA allowed franchisees to dictate how they run their own regions, then fairness and standards are lowered and they can dictate who they allow to advance to the bigger tournaments. You have a real issue on your hands and you need to take control at the highest organizational level or your numbers will slowly start to decline and the organization as a whole will start to lose money. Sometimes integrity and fairness is more important and will be recognized throughout the masses. Just like the unfairness and lack of integrity has been highlighted over the years from so many other people in the region that I have competed in for 10+years!Show lessZombie Raiders

When we started using the App here in Williamsburg, it was a bit unwieldy and the learning curve was steep. But now it is much simpler than the old paper scoring. Updates have allowed us to more accurately record corrections during the match and post match editing is very good for matching up innings used and balls pocketed. Love this App.Show lessHollysign

I hadn’t paid in a few years. I was ready to renew but the app locks you out from anything before renewal. My address had changed but I was not able to put it in before paying. If any mailings are generated on payment, they will not arrive. On the payment screen, the credit card fields are not properly tagged to autofill from the phone. Also the app doesn't let you keep score. Why two different apps taking up space?Show lessphr0ze

Current members are allowed to make changes to their info, but you can always let us know and we'll update your account if you like prior to rejoining. We have a scoring app in beta testing right now that is not available to all of our league areas. When you’re in the APA app, the links to open match in scorekeeper doesn’t work - I’m using an iPhone 11 with the latest IOS. It hasn’t been working for a couple months. You can click the link to get the score sheets without an issue but you have to open the scorekeeper app separately. Also, the scrolling is a little cumbersome when looking at the notifications and when searching players and the list is longer then the screen.Show lessUncle_B_xxx

App works great. But there’s a bug. Tournaments aren’t showing under my stats. An app suggestion I have is to make an APA widget so I could see my schedule, stats, mvp and team standings , etc without even opening the app! It would also be cool to see past match results against other people without looking at the history (the record against each other).Show lessTim🎱

The one feature that would put this over the top would be the ability to have a practice match. I would love to score a practice match with a teammate using the same app that we play our official matches on. Other than that it functions just as needed.Sleeping like a baby

The app is confusing to use. Having to select the position of your team to see the entire team standings instead of just the name is quite confusing and suboptimal! There isn’t any clue other than asking other app users that it’s even clickable or that it would provide other information, an all in one page approach would be an easy fix.Show lessKutkukutter

The app shows team standings, scores from all the matches, MVP rankings, and individually tracks all my games from when I joined the league a couple years ago. And, regional updates show me when competitions or news is happening in the area. So, if you want stats, scores, or news the app has you covered. My only piece of feedback is how the notifications work within the for an iPhone user. I have to turn my screen sideways if I have 4< notifications and want to scroll down to the “mark all as read” option. Its not significant enough to move to 4 stars, but present enough to be a slight annoyance.Show lessMoka_pot
