Good but some features disappeared

Transitions effects between clips are missing.
Fade-in and fade-out effects are also missing now.

No automatic transitions

Although Movavi likes to call itself an “automatic video editing app”, that is actually only possible on the desktop version.

If you’re looking for an app on your iPhone which will automatically edit your video with dynamic transitions your options are still: GoPro Quik, Beatleap, or Magisto.

Freakin Easy to Use … NOT!

“Really user friendly and nobody believes I did a 16 minute slide show presentation that great and funny from my phone” So this was after one project how I felt, but soon after got screwed on hours of work and tweaking the program to work with my videos. Even with some usage issues I still liked it until it started erasing projects in the the middle and giving me an “WHOOPS” message that they couldn’t find what I had been working on. Usually these messages and erasing events would occur after I refused to go up to the VIP level. This company is very disingenuous. If you want to erase or delete a video you can’t! But believe me this app will erase your hard work in a second and put other pictures in its place.

Not keen on new version

I’ve used this for a couple of years and love it.. until now that is.
I suppose I’ll just have to get used to it, but I preferred it before.
Where have transitions gone? It’s probaby just me, but I can’t find them.

Can you cross platform?

I bought Movavi video editor on the Mac air, but it’s asking me to pay for the app????

Can you not pull your subscription across as I’ve purchased the lifetime membership

Thank you for your interest in our software! Unfortunately, Movavi Video Editor program for Mac and Movavi app for smartphones must be purchased separately, as they are two different products.

So disappointed

It used to be a nice app that never let me down.
Now after rebranding and obviously updating main features it’s impossible to work with this app.
My project keeps freezing and doesn’t save the work I’ve done.
It’s impossible to move little clips between certain pieces of my video. It doesn’t show the trajectory.
I’m not even talking about pixels in my videos. Which some time appears only in the final uploaded clip.

After I messaged the support asking for some help with these pixels I received an automated reply with bunch of irrelevant guides.
My ticket still hasn’t been resolved properly.

If your clip is longer than 1 min - don’t waste your time on Movavi.

Bring back old format the new one is pathetic

I’ve been using this since it started. I bought a license for it. I loved it the best best one ever and then you go and change it. I can’t even use it now. I have to go and buy something else. It’s just I’m so disappointed you went from the best in the world to the worst in the world in one update.
