I'm sick of opening games and sound is blaring. Let me decide my sound level I'm comfortable with. We're not all 13 yr old players.

I initially gave one star because I'm sick of games opening up blaring, which I still am. But Ghost Files deserves 5 stars for content. It's a suspenseful mystery...keeps you entertained throughout game play.

  • Love being a detective!

This game was great. It was engaging and I was eager to solve this crime with the characters. The graphics and special effects were great. It had a good storyline and it was a nice change from princesses and demons. This is a good one.
  • This is a good one.

I only have one negative comment.... Why did I need to have a rope to pull a stick off a tree when I was already in a forest??? Makes no sense. Anyway this seems like a good one, and pretty straight forward. Not a lot of going back and forth till your head spins. The story is cool, as a detective you must find a killer of a man who was convicted by a jury that he is now murdering. Very cool plot. Different types of Collectibles in each scene are cool. The puzzles are pretty easy so far. I am a quarter way thru. So buy it.... I did.

  • Ghost Files: The Face of Guilt by LynxMinx

Once again, my review disappeared! This paranormal detective story from Brave Giant was a very good game. You could customize settings. The game was lengthy and had a bonus adventure. There was no cohesive journal but objectives were regularly updated. The graphics were colorful and clear. The storyline was interesting and easy to follow. There was an excellent teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations. At each location there were different collectibles but you were given indicators when you had collected the items. Inventory items were labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. The HO scenes had some variation, but they weren't that unusual. However you could play an alternative card game. There was a decent variety of puzzles/games; some were simplistic but still fun to do anyway. I won't spoil it for anybody but you get a lot of interesting gadgets to use, both in regular mode and also in the limbo world, where you must use paranormal skills.
My rating will stand at 4 stars. The vocabulary and grammar were quite poor and you could tell that English was not the developer's first language. In addition some of the puzzles were very hard to manipulate and thus I had to skip them.
Still and all it was a very good game. I wish we got more games from Artifex Mundi!
Lynxie sends 💋😘❤️ to the DTE and all the reviewers who enjoyed this unusual detective story!

  • Visage coupable

Encore super, j'ai bien aimé et me suis amusée voilà le but 🥅 des jeux, merci 😊
  • Interesting game

I like it because it's different but there are too many hidden object scenes which become a little boring. So only 4 stars but still a good game otherwise.
  • 💡🚨Feline Muse🚨💡

    Greetings, Gamers: 👄

Not done with the game but what I've played so far, I've enjoyed tremendously.

Note to Feline Muse: you must use the chisel (located on workbench) to open the top right drawer. Inside you'll find a roll of red tape. Use tape to secure and protect the frayed power cord. Should be good to go.

Wishing all a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

    Until next time, fellow gamers,

May the Memorial stars light your way

  • Bugs

I plug in the drill on the workbench but I have nothing to fix the cord. Hint keeps saying plug it in but then it says I have to repair the cord. No way to progress.
  • Great Game

So intriguing. Having great fun. Can't put it down.
