Charging more money than what was specified
I bought 500 coins which was $4.99. When I went to buy the coins on the App Store it said it cost $6.99. I looked in my bank account after the purchase and it charged me $9.47. I honestly really liked this app but now because of this you’ve lost a fan. I’ll come back when you don’t charge more then half the price that was shown.Show lessseemore_the_mouse
I have mixed feelings for this game
Don’t get me wrong it’s a great game. Good storyline great men to choose from and an mc that can stand up for herself. But it’s so expensive I’ve spent over fifty plus dollars so far on the game and I’m regretting it. At first I wanted to support the company because I loved the game. But chapter tickets are very expensive and you only get five a day and for a fast reader like me that’s like eight minutes of game play. I can’t keep paying big amounts of money like this. There are these little premium storylines that you can buy but they are so short and not worth it for the on average five dollars you spend. Overall if you have a lot of time on your hands to wait and play the game five tickets at a time then do so but I wish that the company would either give more chapter tickets or make the chapters longer.Show lessPandanvr4gets
Amazing BUT money
Absolutely brilliant game. Art is beautiful. Well written (albeit sometimes corny but who doesn’t love that) and simply addictive. Within a day I spent so much money just to keep reading- in saying that a lot of money doesn’t really go far if you want to binge a few chapters in one day. Also for those purchasing in different currencies it’s very misleading and you may be charged much more than you expect.Show lessA-nnique
Great... at first.
The story is compelling, and after an exhaustive prologue, you’ll get to choose which character you want to continue the romance with. However, the game then also starts including trinkets, bonuses, coins, attire, etc. All of which you will need to carry on with the story.
Coins are the main issue. They can be obtained in 3 ways:
1- 1 coin per 30s video watched up to a max of 5 videos per day;
2- buying coins with $ (WATCH OUT multiple users have reported being billed double the amount shown in the app!);
3- Signing up for partner offers, 99% of which require you to spend $ and those who don’t (surveys, etc.), I couldn’t get them to work - never got my coins.
Again, you need coins to proceed with the story. For example, you need to buy a kimono in ch.2. Regular kimono is 100 coins (aka 20 daily logins @ 5 videos per day) or 3,500 gold. The supreme kimono is 300 coins (can’t be bought with gold) and comes with the ability to replay scenes later on. So that’s 60 daily logins at 5 videos per day....!! 2 MONTHS!?
I’m sorry but that’s not worth it.
I’m disappointed because the story is great, the heroine feisty and the artwork quite well drawn. I was willing to put in the effort. But not this much effort.Show lessAnnie8396

It grows on you
I got pretty frustrated with this game in the beginning because of how slow the story progresses and because you could not earn coins to get better features. Now it is possible to earn coins but earning one at a time when you need a LOT to get anything is a little disappointing. Other than that, it has grown on me a lot. The story progresses enough each day that it is satisfying! The characters are each so unique and love-able. Also MC has attitude and I love it!! She isn’t some little damsel in distress (usually) and she has a mind of her own. Very refreshing for an otome game. The only difficult part is choosing which guy is your favorite!! I do really like the game, however, my big issue with it is with the coins. I do like that you can watch an add to get coins but the player can only watch it for a certain amount of times. Other than the coins you get by watching an ad, you have to pay for more coins. Also, when watching an ad for coins it only gives you one coin each time you watch an ad. I think it would be easier it you could add something so like whenever you watch an ad it gives you 5 each.
You could also add some mini games to achieve certain items, like coins, gold, or other things to help you and your character move forward.
I like the story line and how everything is put together because many games like this have no reason for why their here or they don’t have a backstory. I also like the that’s we know something about the character we play, like their hobby.
I do believe that this game could have a new mini game, like something fashion related. The player could make cloths or matching stuff like that.
This game has so much potential, and would get better review if there were more activities were available. Thank you for reading and please do remember many people think the same way about the coin issue. There also could be room for mini games that allow you to achieve chapter tickets. Money drain
Don’t get me wrong, I love this game. The story lines are great and the character development is better than almost any other of these I’ve played. However, the amount of money it forces you to spend is ridiculous. In order to get the better story routes you have to use ‘gold’ the only way to get this is to buy it with your own money or watch videos for gold. The latter of which is completely pointless. You only get 1 gold coin for every video you watch and are capped out at 5 per day, so there is literally no point. In addition, some of the routes require as much as 900 gold coins which will cost you £10. If you’re going to charge a fortune on a game, just charge me a fortune at the start so at least I know what I’m getting into and don’t get into the storyline and have to give up the game half way through. That’s NOT fair. It’s also completely unreasonable to charge so much extra for this game than you’d spend on a book as that’s basically all these apps are: a glorified interactive book.Show lessFrankie ^_^
ADORE.
I adore this game 100%. Every characters personality captivated you some how, and their stories are beautifully drawn out. Every character I’ve played has been amazing so far, and I absolutely adore this app. The only thing I can find to be a little irritating is waiting for tickets/spending money/coins on things to get a better scenario. I’d 100% rather have the option to pay the $4 most apps charge per character. Maybe that’ll be cool to make an option? I love the game, but when I get caught up in reading/playing something I like to finish it whenever is convenient for me. Maybe having the buy it outright as an option too?
