En el 2017 Dios le mostró a nuestro presidente, el Dr. Richard Hamlet cuan carente estaban los latinos de Tennessee, Arkansas, y Misisipi de un medio como este. Su corazón de evangelista le hizo tomar la decisión de formar las nuevas emisoras para la proclamación del evangelio a los hispanohablantes de la región.
Al mismo tiempo, Irving Ravelo, quien es director de desarrollo de Global Ministries Foundation, al saber que no existían estaciones cristianas transmitiendo para las miles de familias en estos estados, manifestó la necesidad de establecer nuevos medios.
Poco después Ravelo asumió el cargo de desarrollador y gerente de las estaciones Buenas Nuevas. De ellas, 105.5, con su cobertura de más de 50 millas, se convirtió en la primera difusora FM licenciada por la Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones de Los Estados Unidos (FCC) para servir al area metro en español.
