NEW FORMAT?!

I absolutely loved the last 3 games, in fact I’d given them 5 stars but this one is just so disappointing…
I hate the map and new format and I also think the new energy thing is just silly… ur losing so many players by adding that because people just simply won’t come back to play what? Like three more games before u have to stop again?
I miss the old format and how everything use to be…
Not playing this game anymore unfortunately:/
I also think paying like $80+ is insane to just continue the storyline :( very upsetting tbh.

Response from developer

We're so glad that you are enjoying the game. More levels are coming soon! <3

Bad quality

Used to love the game, but now the game screen doesn’t take up all my screen, as if it was made for a more square screen, which is weird because it used to be fullscreen…
Plus there is a lack of new content :(

Unable to access the game at will.

I cannot get onto the game when I want to. The play button is blacked out for hours in a day.
Why?
I am getting fed up!

Wish my subscription actually meant something

I really love Game House games, I’ve had a subscription for a while now, but then when I started this game I only got infinite energy for 24 hours and a few bits of extra food. It really doesn’t seem worth the $9.99 a month once you have to wait for your energy to recharge. I liked being able to progress through the story unhampered, that’s why I bought the subscription to begin with, so I could avoid seeing the ads. I think if you have a subscription you should be able to have infinite energy. Especially since it’s a longer game and it takes longer to progress through the story. And since there would actually be a lasting benefit having subscribed, people with subscriptions would likely stay subscribed instead of just canceling once that 24 hour timer wore off. It’s really a shame because I really love these games but having to wait for my energy to recharge is really obnoxious.

Amazing Potential but…

I played Heart’s Medicine: Hospital Heat and I loved it so much that I bought the full game for an ad free experience and went back to play it’s prequel too! This game follows in their footsteps with the same fun and creative mini games, engaging plot, lovable reoccurring characters from the previous games, and general gameplay style but there are some glaring issues stopping me from fully enjoying it.

After the first level I was already convinced to buy the full game as I had done with the previous one - only to find that there was no option to do so. In this game, they’ve traded that option for tons of micro transactions, a constant bombardment of in-your-face “Watch and ad for (thing)!” and even the rather pay-to-win option to buy power ups or boosts to make levels far easier. I was so disappointed to see yet another fun game franchise give in to the aggressive monetisation methods that so many games use nowadays. If there was an option to buy the full game instead of all this, no matter how expensive, I would 100% pay it, as it seems this game is much longer than the others, but as of writing this review there is none.

This feels like a game I’ll play for a few days before the constant ads and pop ups start to get too annoying and I drop it, never to pick it up again. It’s so disappointing because I was so excited to see what happens next.

Love the whole series don’t like the new energy system

I found this game first got most of the way then decided I wanted to start from the first game of the series. Doctors Oath is the largest of the games with the most levels and problem solving. The Hearts Medicine series is the best set of time management games I’ve played.
I love every single one of them. The story is amazing it’s what kept me going through the really tricky levels. Who knew you could get emotionally involved to a game story. The only thing I don’t like about this particular game is the use of energy. Particularly if you have a subscription I don’t think the energy is necessary and slows down the game. The game is addictive and I want to just keep going to get to the end of the story but the energy stops that and makes you come back or purchase energy, which I don’t like.
