A beautiful app. I love how the different decks provide insights from different spheres. I also love thinking about which themes apply for me.
My Mondays got less mystical
I tried toughing it out with the ads, but I think it’s bit ridiculous when I’m just trying to pull one card. I have noticed the “skip video” button on the ads doesn’t always want to work for some reason so I have to let the that darn thing play out anyway. I used to love the app but I’m all done with it now :( .

Recommend switching to LuminousSpirit
First came the paywall where you could no longer access most of the app, taking away many of our favourite features, and then came the 30 second ads just to draw a card of the day.
Y’all, I’m out.
Not only am I deleting the app (and will be sticking with LuminousSpirit and Labyrinthos, which have stayed completely free and without ads since before the Mystic Mondays app even existed), I also plan on gifting my MM tarot deck to [a friend who was thinking of ordering one for herself] so that her hard-earned money does not fall into this company’s hands.
Y’all, I’m out.

Still loving the deck & app
The Mystic Mondays app is part of my daily morning routine—I love kicking off my morning with a little daily message & guidance, & love grabbing the crystal I get in the card pull to have with me for the day (helps me reconnect with crystals & stones I otherwise would neglect & leave on a shelf somewhere). For people angry about the ads—it seems people expect a ton of beautiful aesthetics, information, & effort from an app & don’t consider there are real people running it. If you want content, someone has to develop it. If you want FREE content, SOMEONE HAS TO DEVELOP IT. Why do people expect those who offer spiritual services to offer their work for free? Real human beings have real lives & real bills to pay—would you offer your services at your job for no pay? If you can’t afford a monthly subscription, that’s fine (I can’t afford the premium services from the app right now either). The **very short skippable after a few seconds** ads are a way to keep the app available & people who develop the app & content sustained. I highly doubt anyone on the MM team is diving into a pool of gold coins because of a $9.99 monthly fee. You want something? Something must be given in return, & a few seconds to play an ad seems pretty fair.

Money making and pushy
Used to love this app but now everything is locked and you have to pay a premium or watch an add to access anything. Such a shame as this was a brilliant app a few years ago but now feels completely insincere and money focused. It also REALLY expensive - £120 a year?! To draw tarot e-card? Ridiculous.

Very Disappointed
I used this everyday for my tarot card if the day- now with the ad it ruins everything and I don’t have money so I’m switching apps and I’m very sad it was something I looked forward to everyday. Lost me :(
Ads Ruined the Experience!! :(
There were *never* ads on Mystic Mondays until the beginning of this month where you are now forced to watch an ad before drawing each daily card. This absolutely has ruined the experience while using Mystic Mondays. Mystic Mondays was quick to become my favorite tarot app for its genuine and insightful card descriptions and journaling, as well as its authentic charm!
Pulling my daily cards used to be something I looked forward to as a relaxing grounding tool for my day as a sensitive person with anxiety. It really has helped me on some days! But now instead of that relaxing authentic experience you are forced to dissociate through annoyingly shallow ads. And I have noticed the paywalls have gotten increasingly audacious and restrictive. There has to be another way for the creator to pay their expenses! Labyrinthos is even more popular and has not resorted to greedy regimes. Labyrinthos was able to add in-app-purchases while keeping the app authentic and predictable.
Mystic Mondays had a lot of potential, and still does, but with the direction it is now going in I’m afraid I will have to stop using it :(

Why change it?
Doesn’t load properly, sounds cut off music/podcasts playing and every single update creates a new payment or ad barrier despite the basic use not changing over the years. Feels really cash grabby
Ads and paywalls now
I used to really enjoy it but now it seems we have to watch ads or go behind paywalls to draw the cards. Id rather use my physical deck then.
