Hard to rate...
I was pleasantly surprised to see the re-emergence of an official Skee-Ball game on iOS, initial impressions are mixed.
Mostly the game’s physics are pretty bad compared to the original from Freeverse.
Also missing is a lot of sound, ‘cool prizes’ to buy and just a lot of character the original had.
(And I’m not just waxing nostalgic - I’ve still got it on my 6+ running iOS 10 along with Dungeon Raid and all the Llamasoft titles... Also I played real live Skee-Ball last weekend at Funland...)
Aside from that, there is a whole pile of powerup balls, and completely different stages to unlock, and the ability to unlock all of it for ten bucks. :|Show lessDrelbs2345

This game is pretty good, but it does have some flaws. First of all, it took me several weeks of grinding just to unlock a new stage (3,500 tickets). And just to let you know, if you score 200 pts, you only get 5-6 tickets. On the board there are two 100s, one 50, one 40, one 30, one 20, and the rest is 10. The lowest score you can get is a 90, and the highest is a 900.
The other thing I don’t like is that you have to go to the settings to change something called ‘Ball Tilt’. Ball tilt makes it so that the hall spins really hard in a certain direction, and as far as I can tell, the direction is random. It’s so bad, that in fact the machine gets ‘jammed’.
Lastly, this game is pretty addicting. You want to do challenges to get more tickets and power ups. This game is quite fun, but at other times is annoying and frustrating.Show less-dogey-
Why can’t I get my rewards!?
I’m giving 3 stars because I actually do like this app. HOWEVER, I NEVER get the reward even when I have successfully accomplished the score that they want you to meet!Tiiny_x
Disappointed
I had Skee Ball 2 that used to be on the AppStore. You could use your tickets for virtual prizes. I was saddened to see it wasn’t updated, so when I saw this, I was happy. But this isn’t anything like that, minus the game play itself. It’s just not enough to keep me interested in playing. Wish it could’ve been more like that.Show lessSxethang
Very cool and addictive
Skee Ball has been crafted to provide as true real action as the physical game in arcades. The options are numerous enough to make this my stand-by game whenever spare time permits. You will look forward to playing this app.

Got this challenge recently: “Score more than %d points AND less than %d points.” To complete the experience, the message afterwards said: “Target score -100. Unfortunately, you didn’t win the challenge.” Too bad. Looks like I’ll have to give this app %d stars. Or, better yet, -100.lifeandall

Got this on a lark, not expecting much. Turned out to be better than I thought. I’ve played much more than expected. The physics feel about right (for an iPhone game), the features are good, the play is good, and the bonus challenges are achievable but not easy. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that there are no descriptions or documentation about what the locked game modes actually do; that is, if I earn enough tickets to unlock another game mode, I have to guess as to what “Speedball”, “Hangman”, Or “Call Your Shot” actually means.Show lessmobsidian

The most recent (12/22) update is making the game unstable, can't play Speed Ball on the new Christmas table without the game crashing (iPod 6, 10.3.3) or using the Vulcan ball on any table. Hadn't had any problems before this, which I don't like because this is one of the best skee-ball games out there even though to unlock stuff you have to grind or payShow lessDCRage
