3DBear: Designing, Storytelling, and 3D Printing
Introducing augmented reality in education is easy to do using 3DBear! This app can be used to teach cross-curricular lessons. 3DBear designs can also be accessed using Thingiverse and 3D printed.Students Love IT
My students love 3DBear! When reflecting on the year of what they enjoyed most, they said 3DBear. At the beginning of this year, it is the one app that was repeatedly requested to start using again.
My PreK students enjoy using creating their own augmented word walls. They place letters next to objects that begin with that sound.
My older students create augmented greeting cards, book reviews, book trailers, and augmented scenes.
It is an intuitive and engaging app that invites children to blend augmented reality and story telling with the maths and sciences.Show lessGreat App and Good Tech for Storytelling
Company was very responsive when I emailed with a question. I received a call the same day. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m impressed. I started sharing the tech last week during PD with my teachers. They see the potential for a lot of engaging lessons with students. We very much like the integration with Thingiverse. It makes a lot of sense. Integration with Tinkercad next? Thank you 3DBear.Show lessAn App to Boost Creativity and Imagination
This app has allowed our students to make the impossible possible in the classroom. From maker challenges on Global Maker Day to building solutions for global goals to creative writing and digital storytelling to analyzing geometric shapes in math class to social emotional learning experiences, 3DBear has helped engage our learners with augmented reality. We also loved the ability to import our own 3D models into a scene. It’s also an app that any educator or student can begin creating in immediately with little to no experience. Perfect for all ages!Show lessSimeon Dry
I love the creation and design aspect! You don’t need a trigger such as cube to do AR with 3DBear -> saves you time, Monet & resources! The game is not bad...it just has some big fails
The game is ok but it can be really glitchy at times and it is really boring as well. But if u want to play with animals and Dinos In real life it is good for that.Ok... soo...
I tried doing this thinking that this would be good for a project but.... nothing loaded, it crashed and it was terrible. I have no idea if it was my device but I would not download again.Create scenes
Instead of doing dioramas about books, places, and lessons, I can have my kids create scenes in Augmented Reality, then act in them, and share their pictures and videos. The kids love it, and you can see how they are spending a LOT more time in these activities than if they were doing traditional homework or preparing for a test.Show lessHaving a BeARy good time
My kids and I really enjoy this app
