It’s a no-brained to get this app. So worth it!
I am leaving the country for the first time. This app has been EXTREMELY helpful for me to stay organized between carry-on and my checked bag. The suggestions have also been very helpful because I would never had thought about bringing certain items if I didn’t read the suggestions.
Also, next time I go hiking and camping, this app will be a go-to.
As for the next update, it would be very helpful to be able to organize the order of the items within my list.Show lessCassoke
Perfect for an adventure traveler
After reading this you’ll probably think I’m a shill for the developer. I’m not. I’m just an adventure traveler who uses this App a lot. My traveling always involves a combination of camping, hiking, biking, fishing, canoe tripping, motorcycle tripping and so on. I’m often planning more than one trip at the same time.
Packing List allows me to create, update and check off from various lists. I appreciate being able to categorize my gear which makes building a new list much easier. I also like the separate To Pack & To Do function of each list.
For years I have used spreadsheets (MS Excel and Apple Numbers) for making lists. This worked fine, but I found them cumbersome to check off. Which is why I searched for an App to serve this function.Show lessEin_Bier_Bitte
Exactly Right
Sometimes, an app is better than a list. This is certainly one of those times. I travel a lot, but it’s hard to remember what to bring for work, a 5k, trip to Mom’s, romantic overnight, cruise, lake vacation...this app helps me organize what I need, then save it in separate lists to customize each. Cheap! I could do most of what I wanted with the free app, but I happily paid these guys their $2.99 for giving me EXACTLY the ease and flexibility I needed.

It’s ok
The app populates most items I want to pack which is a nice feature, but unfortunately doesn’t let you share a functional list with others which would be a big help for parents organizing a trip with kids.
Obviously this is a feature the free Apple Reminders App and the free Google docs has which makes me weigh weather or not I want the better functionality of free apps or the pre-made lists offered here. This is an app with a great potential! A few improvements will make it supreme!
Suggestions:
1. When a line gets checked, make it checked in all groups (if name is identical); or when list gets compiled from the template or while editing/adding later, warn on exact duplicates
2. Allow us to edit template lists, there are some obvious choices missing (don't know if this would be possible but would be great help)
3. iPad version should definitely have a category column separated out at left while simultaneously showing items from a selected group. Makes no sense to fail to utilize iPad screen real estate.Show lesstabaks
Great so far!
For some reason I'd never looked for a packing list app before, but this is super useful, looks nice, and has a bunch of suggested items in categories so that I don't need to enter in as many things manually.
If I were to make two suggestions/requests, they would be to add a button to expand/collapse all categories at once, and to add a search bar for the things already in the list to find things quickly.
Overall nice, simple app that does what I need it to. Happy to throw a couple bucks the developers' way to unlock a little extra functionality.Show less'Ru
Why I love this app...
There are many reasons why I love this app! I travel often and always end up forgetting something. With this app I can make a list a head of time and check things off to make sure I packed it. I have only used this app a few teams being the reason that I just found out about it, but I already love it! I am kind of mad that I didn’t know about this app sooner.😂Show less_.audrey

Omg, thank you so much for restoring my previous lists. I was so unhappy when the last upgrade removed my personal packing lists that I had spent months putting together. Not what I was looking for but might be for you
The user interface collapses into categories that have a lot of overlap and the same items.
Due to this, it’s a hassle to use. Thanks to macOS and iOS being so tightly integrated, it’s just easier to use the Notes app.
I had hoped the $2.99 version would be more effective so I didn’t give this 1 star. I probably should’ve reviewed the app’s features better before buying.Show lesselvisofdallas.com
Packing Disaster Avoided
When I usually pack I wait till the last minute and always forget something. I decided to find a packing app too help me for a wedding I was attending out of state. the app was easy to learn and it was worth every penny to upgrade to premium!
