About Solid Rock Church: - OUR HISTORY From small beginnings as Middletown Evangelistic Center in 1978, Solid Rock Church in Lebanon, Ohio opened it’s doors in September of 1992 under the leadership of Pastors Lawrence Sr. and Darlene Bishop. Solid Rock Church experienced extreme growth over the next two decades and added many projects including the construction of the Darlene Bishop Home for Life in 2003, establishing an orphanage in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2004 and the addition of a South Campus in 2007.
